theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/1… This essay on the true history of Zionism by Adam Kirsch is absolutely extraordinary - clarifying and powerful and obligatory reading - for Zionists, Jews who aren't sure and - especially - for anti-Zionists.

I miss my friend Tony every day. We shared many meals and many moments that I will never forget. For #BourdainDay I hope you all try a new restaurant, eat a new dish, and drink a new beer if you partake. Cheers, Tony!

Zohran is what happens when antisemitic student governments start growing up and running for office. Watch what has happened on college campuses, and it will all make sense.

In 2017, Zohran Mamdani praised the Holy Land 5 — criminals convicted of providing material support to Hamas terrorists. He now wants to be mayor of America’s largest city. This should alarm anyone who cares about freedom, safety, and Western values. @OutnumberedFNC @FoxNews

I remember back in 2017 when Anthony Bourdain came by Trejo's Cantina for Parts Unknown. It was like being visited by the pope. He had a gift for talking right at you, with you, as if we were on the same level. He loved my cauliflower and jackfruit tacos. I was so humbled by his praise and so proud it almost brought tears to my eyes. Happy heavenly birthday!

THREAT ALERT 🚨 Pakistanification of America! If you think Zohran Mamdani is bad for NYC… You have no idea what’s coming. What’s happening right now is not politics. It’s a coordinated ideological invasion. And no one is warning you. While you're distracted, Pakistan’s former president, a loyal mouthpiece of radical Imran Khan and the radical PTI party, is touring U.S. mosques, rallying Pakistani Muslims to seize control of American government offices. Yes, you read that right. 🗽 In Long Island, Dr. Arif Alvi told his crowd of "influential" Pakistani Americans: “This is not a request — this is a demand from Pakistan. Your country needs you. Pakistan Zindabad!” He urged them to unite, enter local U.S. politics, gain influence, and feed that power back to Pakistan. This isn’t assimilation. This is colonization - the Pakistanification of America. They’ve already set up shop in Texas, where Alvi was welcomed at EPIC Mosque—run by jihadi cleric Yasir Qadhi—the same mosque pushing a Sharia-based Islamic city now under investigation. And now they’ve set their sights on New York, New Jersey, Illinois, California, Michigan—every state, every city, every office. 📣 Who is monitoring this? Who is stopping this? Why is a foreign leader allowed to travel freely across America pushing political loyalty to a jihad-exporting nation? 🇺🇸 It’s time to wake up. This is an ideological war - and they’re playing for keeps.

Zohran Mamdani believes we must "globalize the intifada." This is what it looked like the last time an intifada came to New York City. WE WILL FIGHT BACK! 🇺🇸

So it seems the people have spoken and Zohran Mamdani will most likely be the next mayor of New York. He won the New York City Democratic mayoral primary. This is a man who wants to globalize the intifada, and believes capitalism is a danger. Zohran Mamdani has barely ever had a job, with just 3 years in the workforce — including his ‘rap career’ and a gig for his mom. Some of his rap is wildly antisemitic. This is a man who is deeply antisemitic and who is proudly anti Israel. Zohran Mamdani took to the streets just days after the October 7th massacre, not to condemn Hamas, but to condemn Israel. He co-founded a Students for Justice in Palestine chapter - whose latest announcement, is "the Empire will fall, from Gaza to Tehran." Advocating for the destruction of America is not a position that a mayor of NY City should have. Hasan Piker : “Americans deserved 9/11.” NYC Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani: “cool, we should have lunch together and do an interview.” That is the photo you see below. He has promised to: 1. Arrest Bibi 2. Globalize the Intifada 3. House homeless folx on the subway 4. Defund NYPD 5. Make Zionists so uncomfortable they leave Antisemitism has been skyrocketing in NY for years. This man will take it to a whole new level. So to my brothers and sisters in NY, what is your next move because the chances of him being your next mayor are incredibly high? 🥺 If he gets elected, which he looks like he will, will you really stick around? Will you move to the another city? State? Or perhaps you should come home? 🇮🇱 The world keeps getting crazier and crazier by the day. Jews, please come home. 💪✡️❤️🙏🇮🇱

The world is suddenly extremely concerned about the “legality” of US and Israeli strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites. Where was that energy when Mahsa Amini, 22, was beaten to death for showing her hair? Where were the screams when Nika Shakarami, 16, was tortured and murdered in the back of a car for protesting Mahsa Amini’s death, before being thrown off a roof? Where was the outrage when Elaheh Hosseinnejad, 24, was raped and stabbed to death after opposing the regime on Instagram? Where was that moral righteousness when Mohammad Ghobadlou, 23, who suffered from a mental health condition, was hanged after being denied his medication and a fair trial?

Why Islamic Countries Can't Sustain Secular Rule? The ideological insistence on Islamic supremacy leaves no room for secular rulers to govern without constant appeasement of religious sentiments. Secular Arab leaders attempt to placate Muslim populations with symbolic gestures, anti-Zionist rhetoric, state-sponsored religious institutions, or alliances with Islamic movements, but these efforts invariably fail to satisfy the demand for Sharia-based governance. When appeasement falters, as it always does in the face of uncompromising theological expectations, secular rulers resort to tyranny to maintain power, crushing dissent through violence and repression. This cycle of appeasement and authoritarianism, rooted in the inability to reconcile secular governance with the ummah’s vision of divine rule, ensures that progressive or future-focused governance remains elusive, trapping much of the Islamic world in a perpetual struggle between autocracy and theocratic ambition.
