HCNB’s tenure infected the fanbase with malaise & apathy. The program that is our alter ego became an embarrassment. We questioned our investment when the admin seemed content with a less than mediocre program.

Mountaineer fans want to believe in the program again. We are ready to believe & re-invest in the program. But we trusted the climb & were crushed by the fall. We need proof it’s safe to go all in. UVA was a downpayment. A win over OKST closes the deal.

Big game for OKST. Big game for WVU. My humble opinion is the winner is destined for a spot in B12 championship game. The game defies prediction. Home team advantage gives WVU the edge.

If WVU or Mountaineer fans are your targets you need to remember our bitter rivals are Pitt & VT. The rivalry with Pitt is exceptionally mean-spirited. There’s no mutual respect. They hate us and we hate them. Vitriol & animus reign.

We rocked VT’s bus. Shoved Beamer into a trash can. Sportsmanship goes out the window when we play the Backyard Brawl. We want to hurt Pitt as much as beat them. And that feeling is mutual.
