On this night, WVU upset Virginia Tech to knock the Hokies out of natty consideration. Frank Beamer was stuffed into a trashcan. The Virginia Tech bus was rocked on his way out of Morgantown. Many believe it’s a miracle Virginia Tech’s bus made it out of West Virginia.
