Alex Kay of Bleacher Report raises major concerns about Jared Verse, questioning whether he can live up to expectations after failing to record a sack in his first two games with the Browns.
"With Verse failing to record a single sack over his first two games in a Browns uniform, it's fair to start wondering if his Pro Bowl production was mostly a product of the Los Angeles Rams' creative scheming and superior talent in the defensive trenches. If Verse can't pick up his first sack of 2026 against a mediocre offensive line that has allowed QB Bryce Young to be brought down four times over the first two weeks, he may never reach the level of play the Browns expected when they traded for him."

I’ve found this idea that “you haven’t won shit” such a lame and dull argument. Only 4 current coaches have won championships and one of the 4 we collectively think isn’t good anymore. The idea that you can only be given accolades if you’ve won a title as a HC is unserious.

There are multiple potential top-100 draft picks on defense for Notre Dame, not named Leonard Moore (Boubacar Traore, Brauntae Johnson, DJ McKinney, Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa, Adon Shuler, just to name a few, and not to mention numerous young former five-stars serving as backups). If BYU had more talent, it would mean BYU has one of the most talented units in the country.
BYU is a great team and Notre Dame shouldn't overlook them, but this is just wrong
