Half a million views is a weird thing to process when you’re normally just posting what’s happening in your life.
My picture with Erika and the Charlie Kirk Legacy Project truck reached almost 500,000 people, and then I basically disappeared for a few days 😂
Part of that was intentional. I came back to Florida with actual work waiting for me, relationships that needed attention, a dog that was very happy to have me home, and a lot to process from everything that happened out west.
I’m realizing this season is going to require learning how to live in two worlds without doing either one poorly. I have a career and responsibilities here in Florida, while a lot of the ministry, political work, and relationships I’m building are developing in Nevada, Utah and Arizona. Somewhere in the middle of all of that, I still have to be a human being, stay healthy, protect my relationship with Christ, and not confuse being busy with being obedient.
The 500,000 views were cool. I’m thankful for them. But they aren’t the mission.
If God gives me a platform, I want to steward it well. If He gives me ten people instead of half a million, I want to steward those ten well too.
For now, I’m catching up, reconnecting, praying, working, spending some much-needed time with my dog, and figuring out what comes next.
One day at a time.
