BlackRock just published on AI + digital assets: if agents scale, they’ll need markets that settle without a human clicking “confirm.” That’s the demand side. The hard part is the agent itself. A model can write a trade idea. It can’t, by itself, prove the price is real, prove it’s allowed to move that size, or prove the settlement followed the user’s rules — not a prompt it rewrote mid-way. So agents stay offchain, or they stay small. Chainlink’s post is naming that missing layer: • a price the contract can trust (Data Streams) • compliance checks that run onchain (ACE) • execution coordinated with consensus, not a single bot (CRE) BlackRock describes why the machine-native economy grows. Chainlink describes what has to exist before an agent can transact there at scale. Not “AI will use crypto.” The gap is trusted automation — rules the agent can’t ignore. @chainlink @BlackRock
AI agents aren’t transacting onchain at scale because they require built-in guardrails to follow user rules & enable reliable execution. Chainlink unlocks agentic finance with: • Data Streams for verified pricing • ACE for onchain compliance • CRE for consensus-based execution

AI agents can reason. But moving real money requires more than intelligence. An agent might understand: “Find the best yield, but stay within my risk limits and only use approved protocols.” The challenge is making those rules verifiable and enforceable onchain which is where things goes wrong. That’s where Chainlink fits: → Data Streams: verified market data → ACE: programmable compliance → CRE: verifiable workflow execution → CCIP: cross-chain connectivity The architecture becomes: User Intent → AI Agent → Verified Data → Guardrails → Execution → Settlement AI provides intelligence. Chainlink provides verifiable infrastructure. Blockchains provide settlement. That’s how agentic finance starts becoming real. nitter.net/chainlink/status/21027…

For AI agents to move real value onchain, they need verified prices, compliance rules they can't break and execution with no single point of failure. Chainlink brings all three together.

In 1981, seven engineers in India started a software company with about $250 borrowed from one founder's wife. Today that company runs the software under a big chunk of the world's banks. Yesterday it picked Chainlink. Most people in crypto have no idea who Infosys is. So let's start there. On paper, it's an Indian IT company. $20B in revenue last year. Around 330,000 employees. Listed in New York. Almost 30% of that revenue comes from one industry: Finance. That's over $5B a year from banks and insurers. 8 of the 10 largest investment banks work with them. But the part that matters most is a product called Finacle. Finacle is core banking software. It holds your balance, moves your payments, adds your interest every month. Over 1,000 banks in 100+ countries run on it. DBS. ICICI. Emirates NBD. Standard Bank. India Post runs hundreds of millions of accounts on it. So when a bank wants to change how its money moves, it doesn't call a crypto startup. It calls the people who built its system. A lot of the time, that's Infosys. That's who just standardized on @chainlink. Banks were never stuck on crypto because of the tech. They were stuck on the paperwork. New vendor, new security review, new contracts, two years of meetings. Now the vendor they already trust walks Chainlink in the door. The word Infosys used was "standardizing." Not "exploring." So when a bank asks Infosys how to launch tokenized deposits or check what's backing a stablecoin, the answer comes with Chainlink already in it. Nobody gets fired for picking what their vendor recommends. And it also finishes a pattern. Swift. Then Bottomline earlier this month, a payments company working with 600+ banks. Now Infosys. Chainlink isn't chasing banks one by one. It's getting into the pipes banks already use. How they message. How they pay. Now, possibly, the system that holds the accounts. 45 years ago, Infosys started with $250 and a bet that banks would need software. Now it's betting they'll need onchain rails too. They were right the first time.

You may have never heard of Bottomline, but it helps move trillions of dollars through the global financial system. Bottomline is financial infrastructure used by banks and businesses for payments, cash management and financial messaging. Its platforms process more than $16 trillion in payments annually, and Bottomline serves 600+ banks. Now it is working with Chainlink to connect traditional banking infrastructure to public and private blockchains. Why does that matter? Banks already have decades of infrastructure. They don't want to rebuild everything just to use stablecoins, tokenized deposits or blockchain settlement. Bottomline + Chainlink creates another path: Banks → ISO 20022 → Bottomline → Chainlink → Blockchains Bottomline provides infrastructure banks already use. Chainlink CCIP provides interoperability across blockchain networks, while CRE can orchestrate workflows between traditional financial systems and onchain infrastructure. Bottomline is also already preparing for this shift. In 2026, it announced that its digital banking platform was stablecoin-ready, supporting stablecoins and tokenized deposits alongside traditional currencies. Put the pieces together: $16T+ annual payment volume. 600+ banks. ISO 20022. Stablecoins & tokenized deposits. CCIP + CRE. Public & private blockchains. To be clear, this does not mean $16T is flowing through Chainlink or that all 600+ banks are using Chainlink today. What matters is the infrastructure. Instead of asking banks to abandon what already works, Chainlink can help connect existing financial rails to an increasingly onchain economy. And that may be how blockchain adoption actually reaches banking at scale: not by replacing the financial system, but by connecting it. Banks on $LINK Infosys started with $250 in 1981. Today, it’s a $40B+ global technology company. But the more interesting story isn’t the valuation. It’s how many times Infosys has been early to a major shift in global technology. First: Indian engineering going global. 🇮🇳 At a time when India wasn’t yet viewed as a global technology powerhouse, Infosys showed that software could be built by Indian engineers and delivered to some of the biggest companies in the world. That sounds normal today. It wasn’t normal then. Then came global capital. In 1999, Infosys became the first Indian company to list on NASDAQ. That wasn't just a milestone for Infosys. It put an Indian technology company directly in front of American and global investors at a time when India's tech industry was still establishing its international reputation. Then they changed how software itself was delivered. Infosys became one of the pioneers of the Global Delivery Model. The idea was simple but powerful: Why should software development stop because one part of the world has gone to sleep? Distribute teams across geographies and time zones, and development can effectively continue around the clock. That model went on to become fundamental to the global IT services industry. Now look at what Infosys is doing in 2026. Infosys is working with Chainlink. And this is where things get interesting. Infosys supports banking and payments infrastructure serving 1.7B+ customer accounts worldwide. It is now standardizing adoption of Chainlink infrastructure including: CCIP. CRE. ACE. Proof of Reserve . Data Streams. Data Feeds. In other words, the company that helped enterprises connect software teams across the world is now working on infrastructure that can help financial institutions connect to onchain markets. There’s an interesting symmetry here: 1990s: Globalize software development. 2000s–2020s: Digitize global enterprises and banking. Now: Connect institutional finance to blockchains. Nobody knows exactly how quickly institutional finance will move onchain. But when a company deeply embedded in global banking infrastructure starts standardizing around Chainlink, it’s worth paying attention. Maybe the next Global Delivery Model isn't about moving software around the world. Maybe it's about moving value. Infosys 🤝 Chainlink
