I've been asking for this to be done since I knew Communists were who repealed it. In this law it not only bans "anyone" pledged to Islam, but it "prohibits" a card carrying American Communist party member to be a US Citizen.

Wrong!! There’s no law that keeps Muslims or any other religion from holding office. And It barred or allowed the deportation of certain non-citizens because of membership in the Communist Party or other totalitarian organizations, with some exceptions.
