Witnessing its 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁-𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 today on the occasion of the 𝟴𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗦𝗜𝗥 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆, CSIR-Institute of Microbial Technology (CSIR-IMTECH), Chandigarh, opened its doors to young learners, educators, and science enthusiasts for an inspiring 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆. 𝗝𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵. Introduced to all Open Day visitors today, CIRA was warmly admired and became an instant favourite among the young minds! वैज्ञानिक और औद्योगिक अनुसंधान परिषद (@CSIR_IND) ने युवा कार्य और खेल मंत्रालय के सहयोग से माय भारत पोर्टल पर CSIR विज्ञान और नवाचार प्रश्नोत्तरी शुरू की। #CSIR के 85वें स्थापना दिवस के अवसर पर शुरू की गई यह प्रश्नोत्तरी 20 से 26 सितंबर तक आयोजित की जा रही है। यह प्रश्नोत्तरी विशेष रूप से युवाओं के लिए तैयार की गई है। इसका उद्देश्य वैज्ञानिक जागरूकता, जिज्ञासा और विज्ञान के प्रति सार्वजनिक सहभागिता को बढ़ावा देना है। इसमें CSIR की वैज्ञानिक उपलब्धियों, प्रौद्योगिकी, नवाचारों, संस्थानों और समाज तथा राष्ट्र के प्रति योगदान से संबंधित बहुविकल्पीय प्रश्न पूछे जाएंगे। विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय ने कहा कि आने वाले महीनों में माय भारत पोर्टल पर ऐसी और भी प्रश्नोत्तरी आयोजित की जाएंगी।

Key Takeaways: "CSIR is among the few institutions that have led India’s post-independence journey, having come into existence in 1942, before the country became independent. The organisation represents a rich scientific legacy built over more than eight decades and has developed capabilities across a wide range of domains. And therefore, the challenge before CSIR is to live up to this legacy by continuously renewing its scientific and technological work according to the current and futuristic requirements of the country. The success stories emanating from different CSIR institutes have increasingly become associated with the identity of the State or UT where they exist. CSIR’s contributions range from leather technologies and jewellery to healthcare, agriculture, road technologies, Aroma Mission, food technology and aerospace. Last one decade, led by CSIR President Sh @narendramodi , witnessed increased visibility of scientific achievements and their connect with citizens. 85th Foundation Day Celebrations of #CSIR: Inaugurated and did a walkaround of the Exhibition showcasing wide range of technologies developed by #CSIR institutes/labs across the country and the technology support provided to StartUps. Another important highlight of the Foundation Day celebrations was a special “SciArt” exhibition, whose unique feature was paintings by eminent scientists themselves, depicting various science related phenomena through creative illustrations.
