Hey, everyone! We're making changes to the Anniversary event because the requirements to earn the Table Flip title weren't entirely clear.
We're reducing the requirement from 48 challenges to 38 and extending the event until the end of the season! 🧵1/4

been a while since I've been on here, but if anyone in the SF Bay Area is into #overwatch #cosplay, please feel free to reach out!
I hosted the #fanime 2026 Overwatch gathering and will be planning out future gatherings at Bay Area anime conventions (including Fanime 2027)

Fortunately for most intel chromebooks, users can flash them and run Windows!
This allows chromebooks to run the latest chrome after support is dropped. Or even before then, users can run more software on Windows!

There is one longer-lasting option, though it's outside the price and performance band that schools usually need. The Framework Laptop Chromebook Edition has software support through June 2030 and is easy to repair.

Yep the Pixel Slate indeed has better audio in Windows than Chrome OS
because I decided to simply not include Waves MaxxAudio in my Windows driver

Pixel Slate honestly feels pretty nice to use!
Still on Chrome OS at the moment, but will be putting Windows on it soon
I wish that the speaker tuning was a bit better (Chrome OS uses Waves MaxxAudio) but I've heard the sound is better on Windows so we'll see...

when you call the support line for a *paid* service and they're like "for every minute on the call you will be charged $3"
you greedy piece of shits...

Twitter is closing its doors to hobby bots like this one. They tell us a week before this happens.
There's been a lot of measured, well-mannered commentary from other makers of Twitter bots. I thought I'd share my uncensored thoughts instead.
Fuck this.

Got sound working in Windows on the @FrameworkPuter chromebook!
(Ignore the fact I pulled off the keyboard / trackpad assembly from the machine for now -- diagnosing a separate issue)
