I think it was a fair attempt to market against what seems (and arguably still is) the biggest shift in technology since the internet itself, but what has been hyped, promised, and delivered (especially for consumers) has been very different from what VC, tech bros, and investors have claimed.
Let's face it, AI has not delivered any upgrade cycles for PC or phones, whether it's Microsoft, Google, Samsung, or Apple.
