Absolutely incredible… "Wedgewood Polls" just admitted they are a fake polling firm and made up their polls. Their fake polls have been posted in both the NYT and Nate Silver’s averages.

According to Korean media, the CXMT 4F² DRAM scare is getting WALKED BACK. China's CXMT said it would unveil a server DDR5 chip using denser 4F² cells by the end of the year and that news helped crush Samsung and SK Hynix this week. KB Securities says the DRAM process gap between Korea and CXMT is still about 5 to 7 years, yields, cost and customer qualification matter far more than a launch preview. Rosenblatt called the near term threat a PAPER TIGER and CXMT also still struggles to get advanced EUV tools because of United States export rules. Samsung's CTO said at SEDEX that the company is working hard on 4F² itself and mass production for Korea's big chipmakers is still expected later this decade. Competition from China is real but treating an unveil like mass production is how you end up with a panic sell. $MU
According to Korean media, one of China's top chip analysts says China is still about 3 years behind Korea in HBM. Liu Yang, deputy head of research at Shenwan Hongyuan Securities, told Chosun Biz the gap is about 2 years in DRAM and even shorter in NAND. He called 3 years in HBM the optimistic case while some people inside China think it is longer. The biggest bottleneck is lithography because Korea and Taiwan can buy the tools they need while China cannot. He said China is at the stage of holding the gap steady and also said China's AI industry sees its models as 2 to 3 years behind the United States. That is a very different picture from the one driving this week's selloff in Samsung and SK hynix.

The reason young white men can't find jobs anywhere is because DEI is still happening. It's just that Leftists are keeping their heads down and being less public about how much they're racially discriminating to purge young white men from the labor market.
BREAKING: @Mizzou official admits they still have DEI. "We have something called The Bridge and they're really focused on DEI, like inclusion and stuff like that." "That's like, their whole schtick." They're focused on "social justice issues." What's going on here, @Mizzou?

The best PR is endless repetition of one simple, true message. The message: any vote for any Democrat is a vote for more 2020 woke. Maybe you think yours is special. You think you have a good one. You don’t. Also a vote for more 2020: not voting. Even worse: voting Libertarian

Marc Andreessen reveals why housing, health care, and education keep getting more expensive while everything else gets cheaper "There's basically three components to the American dream. A house near great job opportunities, great health care for you and your family, and sending your kids to good schools" "If you disaggregate the economy over the last 25 years, everything that technology touches basically collapses in price. Television sets, computer games, anything with electronics in it. But if you chart housing, education, and health care, the prices of those things are skyrocketing" "The government restricts supply, zoning laws and university certifications. And then the government responds to the political pressure caused by the rising prices by subsidizing demand. And of course, if you subsidize demand and a fixed supply, you get skyrocketing prices"

My thesis on $MU and memory: 1. It’s not cyclical. There’s never been an AI cycle before. People who claim it is cyclical don’t understand the permanence of AI. 2. Demand will continue to increase as demand for agents becomes more widespread and complex. 3. CXMT is a small company that is designated by the pentagon as being a Chinese military company. In other words, it’s not a serious competitor and won’t be taking marketshare.

I am in the same boat. Take a look at the salaries of the government officials of your local city. Their salaries will make your eyes water. In FL? They *start* at $250k and escalate to $500k quickly. No way that payroll flies in the private sector.

Americans need to pay attention here. This person was allowed to work in America under an H-1B visa, which is a temporary work visa and not intended for immigration. She has somehow made her way into our government and now claiming she represents H-1Bs instead of actual citizens.
Statement on Trump Suspending Microsoft from the PERM Program: This is a crucial issue for me as the top Democrat on the Immigration Subcommittee, the only member of Congress to have actually had an H-1B visa, and the Representative for tens of thousands of Microsoft workers. The administration has been consistently working to take away legal pathways for immigrants to contribute their talents to our country, and this is yet another of those attacks. The PERM program is the first step toward an employment-based green card for countless workers who want to contribute to this country, and it lays out a clear process with steps to ensure that this is a net benefit to our economy and does not harm American jobs. Our economy, our communities, and our families depend on immigrants in many sectors, including the tech sector, and heavy-handed attacks like this only hurt efforts to build a strong, stable, and diverse base of workers who have legal pathways to come and be in the United States while also protecting U.S. workers from unscrupulous employers. You don’t fix a broken immigration system by taking a hammer to legal immigration. Microsoft has been a leader in advocating for comprehensive immigration reforms that modernize an antiquated immigration system and provide more — not fewer — legal pathways for immigrants from all over the world to work here and be with their families. Targeting Microsoft or the PERM program in this way simply undermines legal immigration and weakens America’s ability to innovate.

Fun fact. The average employee pays in $4500 a year into social security and the employer matches that equaling $9000 if you invested that money instead of paying it into social security starting at age 18 until retirement age you would have 3- 6.5 million dollars. Social security is a total waste of resources.
The most any individual worker can pay into social security in 2026: $11,439 The average annual benefit a retired boomer receives in 2026: $25,000

USAID engaged in election interference and regime change around the world, causing massive strife
Here’s a shocking statistic you may not know. USAID more than doubled its spending on Brazil as soon Bolsonaro won their 2018 election. This was not because Brazil suddenly needed twice the aid. The money was spent on projects in Brazil to undermine Bolsonaro.

If you want to understand why healthcare is so expensive, I'd start with a Supreme Court case about teeth whitening. Around 2003, spas and small kiosks in North Carolina were offering teeth whitening for a fraction of what dentists charge. So dentists complained to the state dental board. That dental board looks like this: - 6 of 8 are practicing dentists, elected by other dentists - 8 of the 10 who sat on the board during this period earned substantial fees from whitening The board sent 47+ cease-and-desist letters, warning non-dentists that they're committing a crime by practicing dentistry without a license. The board also sent letters to mall operators, advising them to expel whitening kiosks. All this worked! These kiosks shut down, prices stayed high, dentists stayed happy. Regulatory capture like this exists all over in healthcare. What makes this case notable is that someone actually sued the NC dental board, in a case that went all the way to the supreme court. In a 6-3 ruling, the SC ruled that if a board is run by those who participate in the market without proper supervision - that looks like a cartel, therefore, antitrust law applies. I have to believe there are so many other potential cases like this in healthcare, just waiting to be pressed on. I'd love to see more of this.

Social security as a concept sounds good until you realize that the boomers receiving the money have a net worth of ~50 times the younger generations of people paying the money. Picture a millennial or zoomer renting an apartment paying money out of their meager paycheck each month to a boomer living in a million dollar house and you see the insanity that is social security.

The health insurance industry needs to be broken into smaller pieces to increase competition and reduce prices. High prices and low quality of service are symptoms of a monopoly/oligopoly. In my state, one insurance company controls over 70% of the health insurance market! Instead we should break the industry into; Catastrophic insurance to cover major surgeries/treatments of $25K+, pharma insurance(drugs), mental health insurance(therapy/psychiatrists), optional low expense insurance(anything under $25K) Plus, additional plans for individual specific risks; recreational activity insurance(eg. skiing injuries), tobacco insurance(diseases caused by smoking), obesity insurance(diseases caused by obesity), narcotic insurance(e.g. drug addition treatment), cosmetic insurance(e.g. acne) Do you think this would this work or not?
