Slashing greenhouse gas emissions and growing the economy go hand-in-hand. CA has proved that – in one year we achieved nearly 4% economic growth while cutting close to 4% in harmful emissions. CalEPA and its partner agencies are working hard to keep this trend going.

It’s a deep point of pride that California is moving forward with the process of linking its Cap-and-Invest program to Washington’s carbon market, building on our existing partnership with Québec to cut emissions and toxic global pollution.
