Y’all, remember when we were in school and they had us kids separated... Honors classes, regular classes, and special ed classes. See, the problem with social media is, they have all of us on here together and we aren’t supposed to be.

It’s the core of Communism…shared mediocrity in place of individual achievement. We took our kids out of school 35 years ago, around the time when they started rearranging classrooms into group desks rather than individual order. @CardioFixer

We had colors, Black, Blue, Green and Red,..and then special ed.....In that order from academic down. I was mediocre,. I was always in Green.😁 (But, we learn from all walks of life) I was friends with everyone from the upper class snobs to special ed students.

I've been saying for now the last several years that there isn't an aptitude, IQ, or mental health test or requirement for people to use the app. That people need to remember that

I remember. I was struggling in all the Honors & AP courses. Meanwhile, my girlfriend’s mouth-breathing sister took all the bunny classes, got straight As, and got a full scholarship to college.

Now, 90% of the population is below average, a mathematical oddity, major glitch in the matrix.

When I was in school, children would be divided by grade. Emotionally, a lot of people on X never made it past Kindergarten. I see that as the bigger problem. You may agree that a lot of those kids in the regular classes ended up doing a lot better than those honors kids.

Actually a brilliant observation. SM allows stupid ideas, and lies, to be repeated over and over until it takes on an aura of truth. It’s not truth but a lot of folks can’t tell the difference.

I went to middle/high school in the 70's, were always split up into 5 groups. They always had simple names, but EVERYbody knew what they were: SMART kids, above average, future brick layers, stoners, walking door knobs. They sacrificed the smart kids for the walking door knobs

Oh they will call that racism. In grade school i lived in NJ for 1 year (7th grade). The class rankings went 7-1, 7-2, through 7-8. You were in classes with students of you same learning curve. Worked well!

Kids who disrupt classes, or are so far behind they can’t keep up, need to be removed. Could be diverted to classes that teach job skills. Anything to make them job ready asa an adult.

When I started school there were 2 classes. One for boys and one for girls.

I was in elementary school in the mid 60s to early 70's we were separated into 1, 2 and 3 going by our test scores and grades. Usually reading ability and comprehension was a main determining factor. I was a 2 in early elementary. I think it's important to teach a class according to similar learning ability. But schools did away with this so long ago.

Then they would pull a handful of kids out of the honors class once a week to try to solve logic puzzles, learn about medieval society and just generally learn on their own. AMA

I'm over 50. Sometimes it takes a minute or 3 to remember that 13 year olds are allowed on here. I do NOT want to be discussing ANYthing with someone else's child.
