We need cash as part of our system
🚨 Google lost power in London this morning and Revolut, a bank with 80 million customers, went down with it. I've spent the morning reading what Revolut users went through. It's wild. People stranded at petrol stations, unable to pay for fuel or a taxi to the airport. One traveller couldn't get out of a train station in Japan. A 71-year-old woman stood at a supermarket till for an hour. Her kid had to drive 30km to bring her cash. Card payments, transfers, ATM withdrawals, currency exchange, share trading. All down. Revolut's statement said "all our customers' money and data are safe." Safe. You just can't touch it. Google's explanation so far is a "power event" in one zone of its London cloud region. Its advice to affected customers was to move their workloads to another zone or region "if feasible." Must be nice. Revolut customers couldn't even move £10. In July the UK government put Google Cloud, AWS, Microsoft and Oracle under direct Bank of England oversight, because one outage at any of them could shake the entire financial system. 12 days ago the Bank of England ran a drill with the UK's 38 biggest banks and market operators. The scenario they practised was a global cloud outage. And exactly one year ago today, AWS went down and took Lloyds and Halifax with it. Same date. Different cloud. Lloyds was having problems again this morning. Revolut spent five years earning a UK banking licence. Bitcoin has been running for almost 18 years. It doesn't have a London region. x.com/SkyNews/status/2112483…

Oops … BMW has offered voluntary redundancy packages to 40,000 German employees, planning to cut 8,000 jobs. BUT the rush to get the redundancy was so huge it collapsed the HR web page. So BMW has reportedly had to pause the scheme because of the overwhelming response to leave! They hadn’t figured so many people would want to take the money and run. Ah…

Debating ex-Tory Minister Sir Michael Ellis on 43,000 Covid care home DEATHS & MIDAZOLAM for @GBNEWS with @MichelleDewbs: “I am DISGUSTED… out of those that died of Covid, 90% of them died under Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) orders..when you’re put on one of those placed towards an End of Life Care Pathway.. from 3rd April 2020 until 2021 the..the End of Life Care pathway that the government protocol had adopted was known as NG163… you’re basically given the combination of MIDAZOLAM & and Opioid.. the government’s own website before all of this happened by a month, in March 2020, said that if you place patients on MIDAZOLAM & opioids, to quote, ‘increases the risk of sedation, respiratory depression, coma and DEATH’…the question to you Sir Michael, and you were Attorney General.. did @MattHancock your Health Secretary ignore their own guidelines when using NG163 all the way through this period up until 2021?” x.com/GBNEWS/status/21126016…

As the UK government has decided to add folic acid to all non-wholemeal flour from December 2026 and this has provoked a lot of controversy, including a popular (>100,000 signatures so far) petition raised by @ClareCraigPath asking for the policy to be overturned, I thought I'd try to write a thread in plain English explaining what it's all about for anyone new to the topic. I'll try to be as objective as I can and point you at scientific references so you can go and read more if you want - or if you are one of those people who only trusts "the experts" and calls anyone who reads things and thinks for themselves a "conspiracy theorist" 🙄. But if you really are an expert and find something wrong here, feel free to quibble in the comments 🙂 And I'm sure I'll miss something important so feel free to add that too... I'll try to cover these points: 1⃣What is folic acid and what is folate? 2⃣Why is folate important? 3⃣Why is it being added to non-wholemeal flour? 4⃣What are the potential benefits? 5⃣What are the potential risks? 6⃣Why is this a bad policy that needs to be overturned? 🧵1/n

The EU Commission admits its EU imposed Basel banking regulations have destroyed the EU economies by killing small banks (6,000 of them!) and thus destroying hundreds of thousands of otherwise thriving small firms that became unable to secure vital loans.

Grown adults are currently trying to fix a cow's breath, and so far they have tried: - A face mask that burns off her burps - A royal design prize for the mask, worth £50,000 - Red seaweed from Australia, mixed into her feed - A chemical additive, made compulsory in Denmark from October 2025 - Over 200 complaints from Danish dairy farmers within weeks - Sick herds made exempt that November - Dairies in Norway and Sweden pausing it altogether - A fresh safety review ordered by Brussels in February 2026 - Breeding her to burp less, discussed at a summit in Ireland this month - The United Nations' nuclear agency, also this month The mask came from a team of Royal College of Art graduates and was judged by the then Prince of Wales and the man who designed the iPhone. The additive was meant to cut her methane by about a third, and Danish farmers say it cut their milk and put cows on the floor. Every item on that list starts from the same assumption, that the problem is the cow. She has been breathing out the same field for ten thousand years, and the only thing that's changed is the number of people standing behind her with a clipboard.

"Anglian Water fined £1.6M for polluting River Brain in Essex." Over the last 15 years Anglian Water has been found guilty of 79 different environmental offences and already paid almost £5 million in fines. Has any of it made any difference whatsoever? Of course not. Perhaps later this morning the @CommonsEFRA would like to ask the polluters why. newcivilengineer.com/latest/…

Er … massive fuck-up (technical term). Were yer told that digital cash was the future? The Government decided businesses didn’t have to accept cash. And so banks have closed nearly 7,000 branches! … Brilliant! And now ONE technical failure and the system collapsed. (Didn’t even need a naked hacker in his bedroom.) It was a POWER FAILURE! 🤡

🚨 They Planned the 2020 Lockdowns to Secretly Bail Out the Banks With $6 Trillion Without Hyperinflation They didn’t lockdown the world because of a virus. They locked you down because the entire banking system was already on the brink of collapse. In September 2019 the REPO market exploded. Overnight lending rates spiked. Corporate loans and derivatives were quietly failing. There was no cash left in the repo market and in the system even through banks had Treasuries as collateral. The Federal Reserve was staring at a full-blown liquidity crisis that could have taken down major banks. Then, just weeks later, a “once-in-a-century” virus conveniently appears. By early 2020 the Fed starts pulling hundreds of billions out of the REPO market… right as the first cases hit U.S. soil. They shut down the entire economy. Why? Because if people stop spending, stop borrowing, and stop circulating money, the system can suddenly print $6 TRILLION and dump it straight into the banks without causing immediate hyperinflation. The lockdowns were a financial operation. While you were terrified of a virus and watching your business die, the biggest bailout in history was being executed behind closed doors. The timing wasn’t coincidence. The scale wasn’t accident. The narrative wasn’t organic. They needed you scared, isolated, and offline so they could quietly rescue the system that was already breaking in 2019. This wasn’t chaos. This was the plan. The famous City Of London banker @LordBelgrave already warned about how central banks, IMF and BIS have been planning the new monetary order. Oil shock? AI crisis? Cyberattacks? They’re already preparing for the next one.

🚨 Energy bills are forecast to go up for the EIGHTH time under Labour That’s according to research from independent energy experts Cornwall Insight. Do you remember when Labour promised to cut your energy bill by £300. Instead, the typical bill has already gone up by about £367. That’s £367 MORE, not £300 less. And now bills are forecast to rise by another £276 in January. That would mean energy bills have gone up by £643 since Labour came to power. Whatever happened to that £300 saving? Did they lie to get elected?
