The rage that seems like power is actually terror. The control that seems like strength is actually fragility. The performance that seems like confidence is actually fear management. A truly confident person doesn't need to isolate their partner. A truly strong person doesn't need to gaslight. A truly secure person doesn't need a constant supply of validation from people they're exploiting. The entire infrastructure (the performance, the control, the rage) exists because there's nothing underneath. No core self. No actual strength. Just a desperate attempt to become whole by stealing pieces from other people. That's not power. That's the sound of someone terrified of being seen. The rage is the panic when the script breaks. The control is the attempt to prevent that panic. The performance is the mask that has to stay in place because without it, there's nobody home. You were afraid of someone who is fundamentally, deeply, profoundly afraid. That's why leaving felt so dangerous: because leaving meant exposure. And they will do anything to prevent exposure. They will destroy to prevent being destroyed by sight. But here's the truth: their fear doesn't diminish your fear. Their cowardice doesn't require your compliance. You owe them nothing, including the labor of keeping them intact. Once you understand that the person you were afraid of is actually afraid of you, of your clarity, your witness, your refusal to participate in the construction, the power dynamic shifts. Not because you became stronger. Because you stopped carrying the burden of protecting someone who was never trying to protect you.

You were humiliated. You were mocked. You were slandered. You were betrayed. You were misunderstood. You were counted out. You were surrounded by people waiting for you to fall. And somehow… You came through. Still standing. Still breathing. Still dreaming. Still believing. Still becoming. They wanted your destruction to be your story. Instead, your survival became the testimony. I’m so freaking proud of you.

Exodus 20:13 gives the commandment: β€œThou shalt not kill.” A few chapters later, Exodus 32:27 has Moses ordering men to take their swords and kill. The Bible’s moral rules start looking very conditional once you keep reading.

10 Things We Know About Gods 1. Humans invent gods and religions. 2. There is zero evidence that any gods exist. 3. No religion has ever been shown to be true. 4. Gods and religions evolve over time. 5. Childhood indoctrination can make people certain that absurdities are truths. 6. God beliefs often come from families. 7. In rigorous tests, prayer has failed to demonstrate reliable supernatural effects. 8. Human imagination can make made-up gods seem real. 9. Humans can find nonexistent gods extremely comforting. 10. Never make enemies unnecessarily. Do not harm or insult people, unless you have something to gain from doing so, AND that gain is big enough to make the risk of them seeking revenge, or simply disliking you and being unwilling to do you favors in the future, is worth it.

Because sharing is caring. Saw this post in Facebook. PS. Not all Filipinas want a foreigner's money and dick! Most of us are well educated and hardworking. AWARENESS POST β€” GIRLS, PLEASE BE CAREFUL, ESPECIALLY AROUND BGC πŸ‡΅πŸ‡!!!! I’m sharing this because this was the first time I experienced something like this, and honestly, it really scared me. I met this man at Starbucks, Uptown Parade in BGC. He was with a Filipina woman, and because they were together, I honestly thought they were a couple. That’s why when he approached me and asked if he could sit at my table, I didn’t hesitate and said sure. I didn’t think anything inappropriate was going to happen. After sitting down, he asked me what time Starbucks closes. I told him I wasn’t sure. Then he started asking for my WhatsApp number. I told him that I don’t use WhatsApp. After that, he asked me if I knew Batangas. I said yes. He asked me which place in Batangas would be better for a vacation, and I told him Laiya. That’s when he suddenly started asking me to join him and be his tour guide. I told him that I didn’t want to go and that I had work, but he kept insisting. The Filipina who was with him also told me that he was from Australia. Later, he even asked me to go to his hotel. He said I could just check out his hotel, and if I didn’t like it, I could leaveβ€”but if I liked it, I could stay. I repeatedly told him NO. I also told him that I have a boyfriend and that I wasn’t going with him, but he continued to be very persistent. The Filipina who was with him was also encouraging me to go. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that they told me they would just look for other girls if I wouldn’t go with him. He even told me that he was disappointed in me because I didn’t go with him. After he said that, he eventually went outside. That was when I started feeling really anxious because the whole situation was already making me extremely uncomfortable. A little later, I went outside because my Grab was already arriving. They saw me again, and the man came up to me and started insisting again that I go with him. At that point, I was literally shaking. It felt so weird and uncomfortable because I had already said NO several times, but he was still insisting. I just wanted to get into my Grab and leave. I’m sharing this not to accuse him of anything I cannot prove, but because this is what personally happened to me, including the things that were said to me, and I want other women to be aware and cautious if they encounter him. Especially to young women and teenagers, please be careful. If someone you barely know keeps asking for your number, keeps insisting that you go somewhere with them, or continues after you have clearly said NO, please trust your instincts. You don’t owe anyone your number, your time, or your company. You also don’t have to stay polite when you feel unsafe. Please stay safe, girls. Trust your gut, stay around people you trust, and don’t be afraid to walk away. Your NO should be enough.
