A lot of high school coaches complain about AAU programs. Stick to the March-July time periods this not a year around thing. Stop charging kids to get “evaluated.” Go to there high school games if you want to evaluate them!

If you play at the right school or aau team, know how to play and have a skill set or specialty you will be more than fine.
We gotta be honest w/the youngns. More teaching ,less coddling.

One of the biggest problems in AAU is too many clubs trying to do circuits and “elite” basketball in small areas without enough talent. If they worked together the area could be well represented, but it’s so hard to get people to work together. The talent just gets diluted.
