Sadly it seems female musicians in a male dominated place (from the ground up) have to be 3 things…1. Desirable 2. Useful 3. Talented. If a woman is neither of the first 2, then the 3rd one doesn’t get a look in. If you’re all 3 then only the first one gets the attention.

Watched the #Brits2026 for the first time in decades tonight. I swore I’d never watch it again after about 1998 but I really enjoyed it. Didn’t expect to see so many of my all time favourites and thought only Noel would be there 🤣 I’ll maybe tune in again in another 30 years…
