For years I uploaded to YouTube almost every day: training, nutrition, prep vlogs, interviews, all of it on the Tigerfitness channel.
On October 19,
@YouTube terminated the channel. I appealed, and the appeal was denied the next day. I offered to remove any video they had a problem with and start clean.
@TeamYouTube’s answer: no reinstatement, and no way to get a copy of my own videos.
I’m not asking them to put the channel back up. I’m asking for my own work: thousands of videos showing my face, my voice, my training and my family over the years.
So I’m taking action:
• I’ve filed a formal request under the Tennessee Information Protection Act for a copy of my personal data, including every video I uploaded.
• I’ve sent Google a formal notice to preserve the channel’s videos and records.
• If they refuse, I’ll use every remedy available to me, including complaints to the state.
Here’s how you can help:
• Keep the pressure on. Reply to or tag
@TeamYouTube and ask them to give Marc Lobliner a copy of his videos. Keep it respectful. Persistence works better than insults.
• If you ever downloaded or saved one of my videos, reply or DM me. Every copy helps.
I’ll keep you posted. I’m not stopping.
