A lot of you are misunderstanding what I’m saying. I never said I’m bearish on Bitcoin. I simply reduced most of my exposure because, while I still believe Bitcoin can reach much higher levels, and I’ve always believed that, I also think there are other assets that can get there much faster and more directly. So from an opportunity cost perspective, I’m much more bullish on tech, energy, AI, memory, computing and similar sectors than I am on tokenization, crypto and Bitcoin. Bitcoin’s fundamentals haven’t changed, but the world around it has. It has evolved and moved forward, and for me Bitcoin has underperformed in many ways, whether we’re talking about performance, privacy, technological evolution or anything else. Seeing Zcash at $1,600 today raises some serious questions for me considering it’s a fork of Bitcoin. Then you have all the infighting between Bitcoiners, the Coldcard hacks, Bitcoin underperforming equities, MicroStrategy, which I still think is pointless, stupid regulations, equally stupid taxation, and at the same time USDT and stablecoins basically dominating payments. And I’m not even going to get into altcoins because I’d need another eight hours. All of these things have made me question my long-term thesis. You’re free to think whatever you want, invest wherever you want and do whatever you want with my opinion. I’m sticking with mine. Crypto is not what it used to be, and it never will be again. End of story.
Are people really calling bull market the -1.10% YTD on
$BTC. The crypto market has kept us prisoners for so long that we can’t even tell what time of day it is anymore.
