Autistic human diagnosed as an adult here.
1. Im not healthy. the trauma from not having my needs supported through childhood has disabled me. Im not healthy.
2. when i was working i was masking heavily and burning myself out to the point i was more suicidal.
One thing you quickly realize watching Love on the Spectrum is that the autists diagnosed as adults end up 100x more healthy and productive than the ones diagnosed as children.
