These technical teams from @VATF1 and @LACOFD will work alongside @UNGRD to provide structural assessments and support the coordination of search and rescue efforts. The U.S. continues to stand with the Colombian people as they respond to this devastating earthquake.
Following the request of President @ABDELAESPRIELLA's Administration, the State Department has mobilized urban search-and-rescue (USAR) technical teams from Fairfax County, Virginia, and Los Angeles County, California to support Colombia's search and rescue efforts.
As the Colombian government continues to assess the needs of the Colombian people in the aftermath of this week's 7.4 magnitude earthquake, the Trump Administration remains committed to working directly with them and stands ready to offer more partner assistance.
