When is election happening in Qatar?
In India, police briefly detained opposition members marching on the Election Commission in Delhi, as they allege voter roll changes strip marginalised voters to aid the ruling party. A political analyst says overridden objections and small cuts can decisively swing seats.

Starlink is U.S MILITARY PROJECT AIMED FOR GEO SPATIAL INTELLIGENCE WAR ON ASIA PACIFIC. #BanStarlinkIndia
India needs @Starlink 🇮🇳 • 11,256 of India’s listed villages still lacked 4G coverage as of May 2026. • India had 1.093 billion internet subscriptions in March 2026, but only 440.87 million were rural. Rural subscription density was 48.31 per 100 people, compared with 126.80 in urban India. • BharatNet had laid over 850,000 route-km of fibre and made about 221,000 Gram Panchayats service-ready. However, its Points of Presence were reported operational at only 80,472 Gram Panchayats in June 2026. • Only 4.26% of India’s internet subscriptions were wired connections in March 2026. Starlink could give underserved communities another route to high-speed broadband. • Starlink has already built 20 gateway sites in India, according to SpaceX Vice President of Starlink Business Operations Lauren Dreyer, speaking at India Mobile Congress today. • Starlink says it has developed India-specific security controls designed to keep Indian user data within India. • Its satellite network could bring high-speed internet to remote villages, mountains and islands where extending fibre or mobile networks is difficult. • Better connectivity could help rural schools access online learning, clinics offer remote consultations and small businesses reach more customers. Starlink already supports education and healthcare in remote communities internationally. • Portable Starlink terminals have supported disaster response around the world. They could give Indian emergency teams backup connectivity when floods, earthquakes or storms damage ground networks. • Direct to Cell could also help ordinary 4G phones connect beyond tower coverage, subject to Indian approvals and mobile operator partnerships. • The government itself identifies difficult terrain, low commercial viability and infrastructure constraints as reasons for remaining coverage gaps. This is exactly where Starlink could help India reach more people. • India should complete the remaining clearances and spectrum allocation so Starlink can begin commercial service. • SpaceX’s Vice President of Starlink Business Operations, Lauren Dreyer, said that Starlink is ready to help achieve Prime Minister Modi’s vision of 100% connectivity across India. She highlighted its potential to connect remote classrooms, support telemedicine and restore connectivity after disasters, adding, “With Starlink, people can get connected within minutes, not years.” India’s hardest-to-reach communities deserve reliable internet too.

One would like to believe that the Indian state is the authority that is restricting the unfettered access of such a tool that can and has in several other instances served as a destructive force against national security.

Unfortunately, we are being blocked by certain oligarchs in order to maintain their monopolistic chokehold on the Indian people. You can guess who they are … This is a crime against the people of India!

Reservation in Cheating??
🚨 BIG: IIT Bombay May Put Its 1-Semester Cheating Suspension On HOLD 🤯 The July 2026 rules were crystal clear: CHEAT WITH A PHONE → FR2 + 1-SEMESTER SUSPENSION And the rule covered: • Mobile phones • Tablets • Smartwatches • AI-enabled gadgets • Other unauthorised electronic devices => Repeat academic malpractice? Minimum one-semester suspension. Now the same suspension provision may be put on hold. Thoughts?

Consider NCERT Class XII History, Part 1, Chapter 3, “Kinship, Caste and Class: Early Societies (c. 600 BCE–600 CE),” which runs from pages 53 to 81. In this 27-page chapter, the terms “Brahmanical,” “Brahmanas” and “Brahmana” appear 44 times. Yet the texts discussed are not described even once as “sacred” or “holy.” The word “Hindu” appears only once, and even that occurrence is in a negative context. This is not merely a question of terminology. Repeatedly describing Hindu sacred literature as “Brahmanical” can have a profound effect on how young students understand their own civilisational heritage. It leads the Hindu students into believing: 1.Hindu knowledge systems and sacred texts belong primarily to Brahmins, rather than being part of the intellectual and spiritual heritage of Hindus as a whole. 2.Hindus outside the Brahmin community are alienated from their own traditions, despite the diverse social backgrounds attributed to many of the sages and teachers associated with India's intellectual traditions. 3.Once people are intellectually separated from their own knowledge traditions and scriptures, their civilisational self-confidence is weakened, leaving them more vulnerable to ideologies that portray their own heritage negatively. 4.The consequences are visible in contemporary student discourse, where slogans such as “Brahmanism” and “Brahmanvad” are increasingly used as shorthand for hostility towards Hindu traditions. The fundamental question is simple: If the authors and traditional followers of these scriptures did not describe their own sacred literature as “Brahmanical,” on what basis does a modern textbook impose this nomenclature? Why should a school textbook take the liberty of replacing a civilisation's own vocabulary with terminology that can divide that civilisation into competing social categories? Many of the scholars associated with this intellectual tradition have gone on to teach at leading Indian universities. What is being taught in classrooms today will shape how the next generation understands its own civilisation. Language shapes identity. Terminology shapes memory. And the systematic removal of a civilisation's own vocabulary can ultimately reshape how that civilisation understands itself. NCERT appears to be deploying a powerful Marxist-missionary-style toolkit: “𝗧𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘆 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘆.”

Adm Paparo is the head of the US Pacific Command. This is a naval command. Odd that not only the CDS but also the Army Chief and the now appointed Air Chief were present at the dinner. Doesn’t seem to meet protocol requirements. The change of the name of the Pacific Command by the US eliminating the Indo part of it downgrades India’s role in the Indo- Pacific.
US ambassador to India has hosted Admiral Samuel Paparo, head of US Pacific Command, at the Roosevelt House in Delhi today. CDS General N. S. Raja Subramani, Army Chief General Dhiraj Seth, Vice Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, were also present.

Do not let a photo op obscure the big picture! With the U.S. Central Command in a posture of strategic retreat from India’s western neighborhood and the U.S. Pacific Command likely to retreat to the second island chain further away from continental East Asia, the subcontinental peninsula will finally attain a stable geopolitical environment in the coming years.

There is a reason no political party exists for GCs. There is a reason no politician speaks for GCs. Because we keep fighting among ourselves. We have a much bigger battle to fight. We need to rise above our personal differences and focus on the policies that affect us. Disagreement is fine, but turning on people who are fighting for the same broader cause weakens the movement. Instead of targeting @neha_laldas, we should be questioning the policymakers responsible for these decisions. Our energy should be directed at the policies and those responsible for them- not at each other. Remember, United we stand, divided we fall.
