Neither statement becomes an antisemitic assault merely because Mazzig is Jewish. Address what Finkelstein said, what Mazzig has promoted and whether the comparison is supportable. “Jewish advocate” is an identity shield designed to prevent exactly that examination.

The funniest part of the modern “cancelled dissident” economy is how often the alleged exile takes place entirely inside elite institutions. Winston Marshall leaves one prestigious platform, lands in another media ecosystem backed by wealthy patrons and established outlets, then gets marketed as some persecuted outsider bravely surviving banishment from polite society. That branding matters because it launders enormous institutional access into the aesthetics of rebellion. You can be born into extraordinary wealth, move comfortably through elite cultural circles, acquire new platforms almost immediately, and still sell the audience a story about how the establishment tried to erase you.
