He acted with genuine heroism and courage in protecting Julian Assange despite years of relentless, vicious multi-pronged threats from the US and UK to try to force him to withdraw Assange's asylum (his cowardly successor, @Lenin Moreno, quickly did). O que distingue o escândalo de Moraes do resto -- além do valor obsceno de R$ 200 milhões para sua família -- é o que Moraes fez depois **para entregar valor a Vorcaro em troca: interveio junto ao BC a favor do Banco Master, esteve envolvido em conversas com Vorcaro sobre como fugir e/ou obstruir a justiça, depois apagou todas as suas mensagens com Vorcaro para que os investigadores nunca pudessem encontrá-las, e então mentiu repetidamente ao público sobre o que fez. Ninguém mais (além de Nunes Marques) está implicado dessa maneira. Pelo que se sabe, ninguém além de Moraes e Kassio não apenas recebeu dinheiro e presentes de Vorcaro, mas também agiu em benefício de Vorcaro. Esse é o escândalo único, e qualquer um tentando misturar tudo isso ("queremos que todos deveriam ser investigados, embora nunca tenhamos denunciado Flávio Dino por barrar uma investigação sobre Moraes, ou condenado senadores do PT por se oporem a uma investigação de impeachment") está tentando confundir a opinião pública e proteger Moraes e blindar o governo.
