What I wish they had added is the option for a random Grand Prix.
I find it really fun when a new DLC Grand Prix is incomplete and they fill the slots with random tracks.
There should be a custom Grand Prix option with the tracks of your choice, or one that makes everything random, just like the custom match, but this time for the Grand Prix.
a quality of life change i hope they do in the year 2 update is add the main tracks as one of the choices for the crossworld instead of having to go with random. they have track textures and announcer callouts for them, but you never see them at all

According to Newzoo analyst Emmanuel Rosier, it’s pretty much impossible as long as Valve stays independent and privately owned.
“Steam is difficult to avoid,” He points out that publishers have tried to leave Steam before, only to come back. “10 or 20 years ago, the big publishers decided to have their own platform distribution on PC, and then they almost all went back to Steam.”
EA and Ubisoft are clear examples, and even Blizzard now sells Overwatch on Steam.
