EXCLUSIVE: Elon Musk came to Donald Trump with the plan to throttle Ukraine’s use of SpaceX’s Starshield satellite internet network, sources have told the Telegraph.
The tech billionaire made the proposal during the US President’s row with Volodymyr Zelensky over strikes on Russian oil refineries.
‘The reality is that they were both in it,’ a senior source said of Musk’s and Trump’s involvement.
But after a night of carnage in Kyiv caused by the slowdown, Musk was alarmed about the possibility of adverse consumer reaction in Europe.
The SpaceX boss then proceeded to tweet, blaming the US administration, and ultimately, President Trump for authorising the slowdown.
‘He tweeted out that he was innocent and that it was the US administration that did it,’ the source said.

The Tesla community has truly completely lost its moral core.
In this, I'm pointing out that a motorcyclist died after being hit by a Model X on FSD as revealed by Tesla's redacted NHTSA ADAS crash reporting.
That's it. And the comments are all: fuck you, stock prices, etc. Truly some weak shit.
I added a 5th fatal crash involving Tesla FSD/Autopilot to my ongoing report, trying to match Tesla's heavily redacted NHTSA ADAS crash data to publicly reported crashes.
This one happened in Ohio last year and involved a motorcyclist who was killed when hit by a Model X with Autopilot or FSD active (pointing to FSD based on the location).

I had a horrible experience with Robotaxi, and unfortunately, support wasn’t able to help.
My destination was only 2.3 miles from my pickup location, yet the Robotaxi estimated it would take 1 hour and 6 minutes to get there. I couldn’t believe it, so I called support. They assured me it was a bug, and shortly afterward, the estimate dropped to 16 minutes but the actual route never changed.
About two minutes later, the estimated arrival time jumped back up to 57 minutes.
I called support again, and the representative confirmed that he was seeing the same 57-minute estimate on his end. I asked if he could reroute the vehicle, but he told me he couldn’t and suggested that I leave a review.
The rest of the conversation was recorded, so have a listen.
Ultimately, we had to change our destination, get out of the Robotaxi, and call an Uber to get where we were originally trying to go. For a 2.3-mile trip, this was an incredibly frustrating experience especially when support had no way to correct what was clearly a routing problem.
I’m asking everyone to share my story. I didn’t even get a refund.
