I am delighted to share that Reform councillor Kathy Gibbon has tonight joined the Conservatives on Buckinghamshire Council - meaning it returns to overall Conservative control.
I can’t give you any assurances over the weather this Bank Holiday weekend, but I can assure you these are the dates on which your bins will be collected 👇👇👇
A wonderful @littlechalfont1 Village Day, celebrating 100 years of the village and the community! Pleased to pick up my book on the history of the village and bump into @CllrCarlJackson!
Good to chat through the Little Chalfont Parish Council’s exciting plans for Westwood Park.
After 3 years, my time as Chairman of Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire Authority comes to an end this week.
It has been the privilege of my life to work with the incredible team at @bucksfirerescue. We are blessed to have people so dedicated to keeping our communities safe.
Delighted to be re-elected yesterday to @BucksCouncil with @MATatBucks and @CllrCarlJackson. The campaign our opponents ran plumbed quite the depths of nastiness and negativity, but our positive track record of delivery won through. Thank you to all those who supported us.
A beautiful day to be out delivering community updates and chatting to residents in @littlechalfont1 and @StGilesVillage!
I’ll be out all day so if you see me, do say hi!
Delighted to introduce @ALouHarr the Chief Fire Officer of @bucksfirerescue to the @BucksCouncil meeting for the annual update. The Service has transformed at pace under her leadership and the Council rightly recognised what a fantastic year the Service has had.
I actually had to check Hansard to make sure this wasn’t fake. A Labour MP actually asked this question.
It came into his brain, he emailed it in and civil servants had to answer it. What a waste of taxpayer money and utterly embarrassing.
Great to spend time this morning with @bucksfirerescue Green Watch at Beaconsfield station. Thanks to all the firefighters across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes keeping our communities safe this Christmas and New Year!
Wonderful @bucksfirerescue Christmas Carol Service last night. Always a highlight in the festive calendar.
Thank you to the @LLBucks, @HiSheriffBucks @MimiHarker and the mayors of Aylesbury and Milton Keynes for joining us.
I’ve voted for @KemiBadenoch to renew our party and our country.
Kemi is the leader who will unite our Party, cut through to the public, articulate Conservative values and win back the voters we lost. We need her candour, clarity and conviction.

Great to be at the @bucksfirerescue People Awards tonight! A stunning location and looking forward to recognising fantastic individuals who do so much to keep our communities safe.
Delighted to be re-elected Chairman of the Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Fire Authority for a further year. It’s a privilege to support the fantastic colleagues of @bucksfire.
In his own words. A socialist. But he is also a socialist who if you don’t like his principles, he’s got some other ones you might like. Don’t be fooled by all this trying to appear reasonable and Tory-Lite. He wants your money so he can spend it.
I’m not a Wes Streeting fan - but in his defence they are so utterly bland and meaningless pledges - or rather platitudes - even the most gifted political messenger would struggle to remember them….spkl.io/601844Zo6
The Lib Dem’s are consistently the most dishonest campaigners in British politics. The nonsense they parrot on sewage is their new tuition fees. Easy to make promises that never have to meet reality.
Out with my young campaign apprentice delivering @GarethWatBucks latest update to residents. Full of the hard work he has been putting in from tackling flooding to securing more investment for our roads.
@CllrCarlJackson & I just had a very constructive meeting with @thameswater about recurring flooding issues being experienced in @StGilesVillage by the Green. TW has committed to immediate further investigations. Thanks to @GarethWatBucks for setting up the meeting & joining us.
Great work @GarethWatBucks moving an amendment to the budget to release an additional £5m of funding to tackle pothole damage done by recent weather. This is on top of our £100m programme. Look forward to seeing roads tackled in @StGilesVillage@seergreenbucks@JordansVillage
Listening to @MATatBucks setting out a prudent and sustainable @BucksCouncil budget for 2024/5 against a backdrop of enormous pressures for local government. We are protecting the vulnerable, investing in our roads and delivering on our environment ambitions. Proud to support it
