Camera technology over the past decade has made it possible for anyone to capture professional level images on a budget. If you go to KEH.com and buy a older camera, and shoot in a RAW format you will have tons of flexibility. There are plenty of great youtube channels that can teach you the fundamentals for free. Getting out there and having fun is by far the best way to learn.

Last weekend in the wetlands.

I bought a used Fuji Film 100v the other week. After taking pictures with a large dslr for years I've found that having a point and shoot is very helpful. You wont stick out for street photography and you are more inclined to bring it everywhere. Used older cameras are great.
