Community Engineers. We build structure and experiences that bridge audiences into advocates. Say hi to your GTC (Go-To-Community) partner.

Community isn’t just the people you sell to. It’s the cheapest way to test ideas.
Skip the abstract “market.” Go to the people who already engage with what you build. They give you the feedback without the cost.
@albertoonchain with his take on what a community should be.
I did 39 hours of travel door to door, from the Kootenays in BC to Shibuya, Tokyo....And somehow don't feel any jet-lag, locked and loaded, and overly caffeinated with amazing coffee! 🔥
when members don't have access to information about a project/company... they start manufacturing information that may not be accurate and they are also susceptible to false info from bad actors.
a well layed out information resource and active support systems in the community will always help prevent that type of negative exposure.
This is the support loop framework.
Community answers the questions, builds the knowledge base, and only escalates what actually needs an engineer - instead of tickets, rage posts, and a tagged company.
@thedanrodman on the Co/mmunity Frameworks episode. Link in comments.
Community is people with the same values, motives and view of the world.
The thing that binds them is usually a story, an origin myth, then rituals, shared taste, and a shared mindset.
@defidave with his definition of Community.
Strategy is prioritization. Where you spend time and resources and a closed loop to prove it.
Ship something small, measure it, then double down, tweak, or drop it.
That’s how you design a community experience that actually compounds.

Vanity metrics got favored for years. Discord size for a listing. Tweet engagement so anyone pays attention. They’re not correlated with community. Twenty to thirty organically obsessed people will do more for a project than a million airdrop farmers.

I've seen many founders make the mistake of thinking they can buy community growth
The truth is no matter how much money or freebies you throw at it, if YOU don't stand for something and build a culture around it, what you're building is a money pit.
Superfans don't show up for incentives. They show up for people with real beliefs, whose products ooze them.
Community is overused. It doesn’t come from the app, the newsletter, or the free coffee.
It emerges from the culture. People show up for what you represent.

Most Discords fail the first 10 seconds. You land and there are 40 channels. No path. No next step.
@thedanrodman on how onboarding isn’t more rooms. It’s one clear move that gets someone to value, no matter who they are.
A “great announcement” isn’t great until the questions stop.
@thedanrodman tracked one keyword: 450 mentions in the two days before. 32 after. Same window. That’s how you measure whether you actually answered the community.
Ambassador programs aren’t a UGC machine.
@justinhvogel on the reframe: find the right people, learn what they actually care about, then tap the motivation that’s already there. Buzz is the byproduct.
AI is slopifying every corner of the internet. The real work is still coordinating people.
@_offmylawn on the question every crypto project keeps failing: how do you rally a room around the mission and keep them after the airdrop?
Ask your community. The good people will step up.
Most don’t expect anything and they don’t realise how much support is already sitting there.
Send the message.
The ones who actually care will show up.
@2140samuel on how your network is your net worth.
Community design is building a watering hole. People come for the water, they stay for the special sauce. Then they bring their friends.
