Gm gm, wanted to give a personal update before the Asia Conference Circuit starts.
I am winding down my time at @CapApp and will be departing from my position as Head of Growth at the end of the month and go all-in @UFGDeFi. This was not an easy decision to make but it is the right one.
It's been an honor & pleasure working alongside @Benjamin918_ and the entire Cap team. Benjamin has stated that he wanted to get together a team of A+ players and he really did here. I've learned a lot over the past 21 months; It's hard not to when Cap is truly pursuing innovation in a sea of sameness. I'm proud of my work in bringing awareness and light to these efforts, especially in today's attention landscape. As Cap continues to advance a new form of credit to the productive economy, I'll be rooting for them from the sidelines and I know they will do me proud.
Yes it has been fun being "TradFi Dave" for a bit, but in reality DeFi Dave never left. Whether that is what @Cibolan2000 and I have been cooking at UFG or with the interviews @patfscott and I have been doing with @FullyVested_Pod, what both have in common is they are a vision of DeFi I want to see in the world.
Time is precious and there are few moments that are given to you where you can actually have an impact. Right now is one of those moments and I would be not true to myself if I didn't pursue it with all my heart and soul.
For everyone who has been apart of my crypto journey for the past 9.5 years, your support means more than you'll know to me. And as I enter this next chapter, I leave everyone with a quote from the greatest himself, Muhammad Ali:
“If my mind can conceive it, and my heart can believe it - then I can achieve it.”
I stand by those words. Now watch with your eyes. See you in Seoul and Singapore.

feels very much under the radar, and @defidave is all-in shipping everyday.
it came to my radar at first when i saw @soby0x and @AvgJoesCrypto in. very good guys to follow when it comes to utility plays. they’ve been killing it on robinhood.
$UFG is essentially an "Inverse OHM v1" or an "Inverse NET".
at their core, while OHM v1 and NET are inflationary reserves, UFG is a deflationary treasury asset.
definitely worth keeping an eye on imo.
One of the two key features of Treasury v2 are Reserve Loans that enables UFG holders to borrow against the treasury
If loans are repaid then the treasury backing increases from interest. If loans are liquidated, UFG collateral is burnt and the token supply decreases.

This is what we are fighting against at @UFGDeFi.
I'm sick and tired of our industry being defined by rug pulls and scammers. It's time for us to take back control.
Sovereign Treasuries are that first step. It is a fair and simple solution for tokenholders to hold teams accountable and ultimately give them peace of mind.
This is why I do it.
The casino will go on. Most memecoins will go to zero and the whole thing is a fugazi. But if I can steer you away from the 100% certified scams run by known bad actors, it's worth it.
Will you probably gamble that money on another shitcoin? Sure. But at least you'll live another day and lose it on your own terms instead of getting drained by straight-up scammers.
