This is what we are fighting against at @UFGDeFi. I'm sick and tired of our industry being defined by rug pulls and scammers. It's time for us to take back control. Sovereign Treasuries are that first step. It is a fair and simple solution for tokenholders to hold teams accountable and ultimately give them peace of mind.

This categorisation doesn’t make sense and is pretty much self-serving. First of all, arguing that a vault where a curator has discretion over how capital is allocated across markets, and can even expand into new markets beyond the user’s initial mandate, which, btw, is a known Morpho drawback (very non-LP friendly), should be considered non-custodial simply because it has a timelock is about as strong an argument as a wet European paper straw. Especially the part of implicit approvals that simply changes the whole allocation mandate and users don’t even have the proper tools to monitor these changes. Also the part on relying roles, doesn't really solve much, simply creates a blame game and relocates potentially liability but doesn't solve the actual problem. Vaults that could reasonably be considered non-custodial are those without a manager. For example, vaults that simply wrap deposits into a lending protocol, or the original Yearn vaults. These are make sense to be categorized as non-custodial vaults. There’s nothing inherently wrong with discretionary vaults, as long as the regulatory path is figured out. I’m all for developing industry standards, but let’s at least do it in a way that serves the broader industry rather than your own interests. 😂

Gm gm, wanted to give a personal update before the Asia Conference Circuit starts. I am winding down my time at @CapApp and will be departing from my position as Head of Growth at the end of the month and go all-in @UFGDeFi. This was not an easy decision to make but it is the right one. It's been an honor & pleasure working alongside @Benjamin918_ and the entire Cap team. Benjamin has stated that he wanted to get together a team of A+ players and he really did here. I've learned a lot over the past 21 months; It's hard not to when Cap is truly pursuing innovation in a sea of sameness. I'm proud of my work in bringing awareness and light to these efforts, especially in today's attention landscape. As Cap continues to advance a new form of credit to the productive economy, I'll be rooting for them from the sidelines and I know they will do me proud. Yes it has been fun being "TradFi Dave" for a bit, but in reality DeFi Dave never left. Whether that is what @Cibolan2000 and I have been cooking at UFG or with the interviews @patfscott and I have been doing with @FullyVested_Pod, what both have in common is they are a vision of DeFi I want to see in the world. Time is precious and there are few moments that are given to you where you can actually have an impact. Right now is one of those moments and I would be not true to myself if I didn't pursue it with all my heart and soul. For everyone who has been apart of my crypto journey for the past 9.5 years, your support means more than you'll know to me. And as I enter this next chapter, I leave everyone with a quote from the greatest himself, Muhammad Ali: “If my mind can conceive it, and my heart can believe it - then I can achieve it.” I stand by those words. Part of the reason schools can get so crazy is for high IQ people it might be 25 years between the time they graduate school and time their kids are in school (assuming they have their first kid mid 30s) so you get culture shock stuff like “teachers don’t grade HW”

AI is trivially technically capable of joining two public databases and can even tell you why an Illinois public employee who has received a PPP loan during their service may be in a bit of hot water, but it _deeply_ discomfits some people that you could simply _do that_.

You know what really pisses me off? When I’m zoomed all the way in on a road in Google Maps and it won’t show me the fucking road name, I have to scroll around until I find a label somewhere else. If I’m zoomed in on the road, just show me the name of the road @googlemaps
