Spent some time at QU Stadium in Quincy, Illinois, this afternoon.
They call it The Rock. The stadium was built in 1938 and underwent a $4 million renovation in 2014-15, but the original limestone wall still wraps around the field today.
That wall is what gives the place its identity. You can tell this is a stadium with some history behind it.
Itโs home to @QUHawksFootball, which competes in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. HC @CoachKillday is entering his third season leading the Hawks.
It was quiet around The Rock this afternoon.
But this looks like a pretty damn good place to watch #D2FB on a fall Saturday.
