The quarterbacks who bounce back fastest aren't the ones who feel adversity the least. They're the ones who built confidence through preparation so thorough that when the moment arrives, they're already ready. That's not arrogance. That's preparation.

A Division III coach cannot offer a dollar of athletic scholarship. What many can offer is harder to see and often worth more. At academic D3 schools the coach can flag your son to admissions as a recruit they want, a real thumb on the scale at a school that turns most applicants away. The aid then comes from need and merit, not sport. No athletic money does not mean no help. Sometimes it is the best help on the table.
