Jake, im so thankful for being your teammate and best friend for these past 5 years and my entire valorant career. Deep down im very upset we werent able to lift an international trophy together but from reykjavik to shanghai, the memories we've made and experienced together will never leave my mind and I will always think back to those. You've helped me become the person I am today with all the late night talks and long days just talking about the game and expanding our mind. No doubt in my mind we will see eachother on the international stage. Goodluck to you on your next adventure and I hope the best for you. cya soon bro ❤️

Somewhere along the line we started to normalise this behavior in esports ‘Oh but it happens in traditional sports’ ‘You can tell when someone hasn’t played at a competitive level before’ ‘They are just supporting their team’ I don’t condone this behavior at any level of esports but for this to be accepted behavior in a scene, whose very inception, was to create a safe and inclusive space to compete. This just runs against the spirit of competition. I have been to a myriad of events, countless crowds and this issue is not an esports issue. Support for your own team and respect for the opposing team are NOT mutually exclusive ideas. Maybe it’s just a few bad apples, albeit vocal ones but efforts should be made to maintain an atmosphere that doesn’t fall into hostile or unsafe. This is on the tournament organisers, the org stakeholders and the fans themselves to self police. Death threats are on the extreme end but when it’s allowed to happen then it gives fake approval and only perpetuates this type of behavior.

Off season/trialing cheat sheet I don’t have opportunities for trials ❌ - What were your expectations before this year? Did you have actionable goals and an improvement plan? Were you able to stick to the aforementioned plan and did you have a support system integrated into this? - What is your reputation amongst your peers and other coaches? If you are genuinely unsure then you should reach out and ask people how you are viewed. This may or may not provide information as to why you are not receiving the opportunities you expected. Ask players, coaches, casters and/or managers. - Can you point towards deliberate attempts at improving areas that are known weaknesses (agent pool, style of play, comms, professionalism, public image) - Are you prepared for the off season? If it’s easy to contact you? Do you have representation? Do you have all your vods ready to be shared that highlight your skill, comms, flexibility etc? - Do you have reputable referrals from teammates and coaches etc? I have opportunities for trials ✅🎟️ - How do you feel about trialing? Do you feel like you shouldn’t have to? Do you feel like you deserve to be trialing for better team? This is one of the biggest performance nerfs that I’ve seen (entitlement). - What are your expectations going into the trial? How are you going to approach it? Is there an element you are specifically looking to showcase? (Mechanics, comms, teamwork, flexibility). Does this match what the team is looking for? - How good is your current routine with respect to setting yourself up for success? Are you able to create an environment that brings out your best self? (Energy management, scheduling, arousal (inverted U theory) - How good are your interviewing skills? Is this something you practice and do you consider what coaches and general managers are looking for? Are you confident in being able to provide attributions for successes and failures from your previous projects? - Do you have questions prepared to ask prior to your trial to better understand; 1. what they will assess your performance on 2. What they are looking to see in you specifically (their reason for bringing you in) 3. Post trials: any feedback from coaches or GMs that they can give you that provides extra insights for their decision.

This is so cool, really convenient having everything under one roof.
For any players who might be interested in joining NS RedForce 👀 In 2024, we moved into our new HQ in Seoul, bringing everything under one roof: practice rooms, dining facilities, offices, support facilities, and even dedicated player dorms. There are plenty of esports teams with amazing facilities, but I think having everything in one building, just one lift ride away, is something pretty special about ours. And of course, anyone in the esports industry is always welcome to visit our HQ. Just feel free to reach out! @NS_RedForce @nsr_valorant

It really is surreal to not know what the future holds but that’s always life, although our story throughout the years didn’t go the “way we wanted” it was truly amazing to be your guys teammate @valynfps @trentFPS @JoshRT @_shhhack @babybay @jawgemo @CoachYip Each one of you have taught me so much maybe without even realizing and we made such great memories throughout this event and being able to travel the world so much and play infront of lovely crowds is a crazy feat. Change is always tough to deal with but I know no matter what that all of us are gonna strive and do great things in our own paths whatever that may be and honestly that’s enough for me to be happy with. Much love to all the fans and supporters of our team it felt like for the first time people were on our side and realized we weren’t so bad after all heh. See you all in 2027 (maybe idk when these qualifiers are 😭)
1-2 vs @100T_VAL the journey ends and starts anew next year big thanks to all the fans, it really is a blessing to be able to play in the biggest arena infront of the biggest crowds when they give so much love. The worst part is never knowing when you’ll be back, but I know I’ll be back eventually.

The last dance wasn’t amazing because they won in the end (that was the icing on the cake). It was amazing because they knew it would end and they gave everything they had in the face of adversity, fatigue and expectation. Long days practicing, long days travelling. Personally even without the international; the level of consistency has to be commended. Really proud of the efforts this year from everyone. There were some great moments where the ghosts of future past were pushing us to greater heights rather than being that weight on our backs. The abruptness of the journey ending overnight is somewhat abrasive. There is something about that driving force of purpose and aspiration. We failed two days short of our ultimate goal but the finish line was in sight so I hope that gives us solace that it was possible and more importantly that every sacrifice was worth it. Hopefully get to attempt the climb again next year.
