Thrilled to be working with @CoinCorner to offer insurance for their bitcoin in cold storage!
For the first time, individuals can get access to a Lloyd’s of London policy for their bitcoin at an exchange.
This is achieved by giving customers segregated addresses on chain, AND including the customer as a Loss Payee on the policy itself.
With other insurance products at custodians, it’s typically an omnibus account, and loss payees are not included at all. This means the custodian is insured, not you the end customer.
We are proud at @AnchorWatch to innovate from the norm and make efforts to offer better custody technology as well as insurance protections.
