Hii ni kama kuambia bibi utanunua a new 120" TV to replace the 85" TV you already have. And the new TV will cost 3 million shillings. Na school fees hujalipa. And there's no food at home.
President William Ruto has promised to launch construction of a new expressway along the Thika Superhighway in October 2026, as the government seeks to tackle persistent traffic congestion between Thika and Nairobi.
Ruto first announced the project in February, saying the 60-kilometre expressway would run from Thika to Museum Hill in Nairobi, similar to the existing JKIA Westlands Expressway.
He said construction would begin in September, but in May he revised the timeline, saying the designs were being finalised and that he would launch the project in October.
