🚨 BREAKING OVERNIGHT - HOMECOMING NIGHT TURNS INTO GUNFIRE IN MINNESOTA!
What should have been a Friday night of football, school spirit, and celebration turned into a terrifying scene outside Eden Prairie’s stadium.
Around 8:40 p.m., shots rang out during the homecoming game against Minnetonka.
Two people were shot. Neither was a student, and their injuries were reportedly non-life-threatening.
Law enforcement sources told Alpha News they believe the shooting was gang-related, with allegations involving Somali gangs. Police have not publicly confirmed that connection.
Parents came to watch their children play football. Instead, they found themselves dealing with gunfire, police activity and uncertainty about everyone’s safety.
A HIGH SCHOOL HOMECOMING SHOULD NEVER TURN INTO A CRIME SCENE.
