This has the same vibe as the Adam Driver scene where he's disgusted by his girlfriend aborting their child without telling him. It's meant to make us hate the guy, but it's so accurate, that it makes the girl look like the monster she is.

I've seen this a couple of times so I feel the need to say this: I teach apologetics but I am not an apologist, nor do I want to be one.

What's the logic here? He's unqualified for presupposing murdering babies was wrong? Can a juror to not have ethics inform his decision? Is the point of a jury to build morality in an ad hoc fashion for each case? What about an atheist who is against killing babies? Is that bias?
Everyone is spilling the tea. He had religious bias on killing, esp babies and should not have been on the jury.

This line of argument is common but wrong and is a standard almost exclusively held against the Bible. Stories with similar or superficial details in common isn't proof of borrowing or remixing. And if the flood did happen you would expect multiple accounts accross time.
They claim they’ve found Noah’s Ark, but there’s a problem.
The story of Noah appears to be a remix of much older Mesopotamian flood stories, which also describe a man building a vessel to survive a devastating flood.
The biblical account appears to reuse many of the same elements in its story of Noah.
So even if this boat-shaped structure turns out to be some kind of ancient vessel, how could anyone prove it belonged specifically to Noah?
Where is the evidence connecting it to him?
It feels like they want it to be Noah’s Ark because it fits their biblical narrative, not because the evidence actually proves it.
You cannot find something shaped like a boat and attach a biblical name to it just to serve your own agenda.
This is just my two pennies’ worth on the subject.

In unrelated news, I found this amazing and sublime thesaurus at my local coffee shop. Needless to say, I am ecstatic at this marvelous fortune. It leaves me feeling euphoric. Or one could say, I am elated and overjoyed at such happy providence.
