We all know 40 minimum wage hours isn't enough to sustain a very good standard of life. It never has been. Which is why you're supposed to make it enough by working more or earning more. Add that horrible warehouse job to your weekends for 6-8 months. Hustle.

All insurances are a scam
Having to pay $3,000 out of pocket for my daughter’s braces while having what the dentist called “really good dental insurance” is exactly why I’ll continue to say this Dental and vision not being included in health insurance is a scam that doesn’t get talked about nearly enough

It's funny, I ventured into TIkTok/IG therapy world for a project I'm working on, and it was like an alien world.

I referenced Buc-ee's in my article about the shortage of MH care. If market pressure can cause that position to skyrocket, why hasn't all these 'shortages' move the need. (It's not actually about a shortage)

A great example of this whole notion that drinking water in session being unprofessional. Someone said it online and it picked up momentum to rebel against as Radically Human Therapist, an easy target to defeat to prove one's superiority.

The rates. Would you believe it if I told that rate was on par with other big box, brick and mortal therapy businesses?

If all of them went out of business the world would be better off… My most radical progressive take is: if you like firefighters saving your life, your ER doc should be no different. Well trained, paid for by us, public servants.
BREAKING: I am investigating Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance company over denials and delays of urgent and medically necessary care.

Day 12 of Exploring Therapy Influencer Culture: I'm going to start to wind this project down because I'm not really seeing anything new at this point. Perhaps I'm missing something, and if I am, please comment below and let me know. Another reason is that it feels tiresome to look at this never-ending cascade of 20-30 something year old early career clinicians with the same generic advice and observations in-between reels of them drinking iced coffee, going to the beach, and going to da club. It's also funny to see so many "Things I don't in session that other therapists don't" reels and all of them list the same things. "I swear, I self disclosure, I have tattoos" How radical

Many men are addicted to performing, and earning attention, which masquerades as a desire for romance. The men who choose women that are always unhappy or dissatisfied are motivated by the desire to “prove someone wrong,” usually their mother or some other negative internal voice.
