What you have to understand about the New Left is that many of their modern pet issues that they take enormously seriously were originally cynical manipulations by the Old Left (Gramsci, Alinsky, Bezmenov, and others) to herd their so-called "useful idiots". Shortly after the Old Left realized that the proletariat would not awaken a class consciousness on their own and they would need to be awoken to it, they settled on a basket of issues that could be used to target specific groups that the Old Left believed would be instrumental in achieving the Marxist revolution. Namely: Racial Minorities (all of them), Women and the societally disaffected (queers). Gramsci and others spell this out in their writings very plainly: they do not personally believe in forwarding stupid racial or sexual politics because those are important issues, but because they work. They work because they reframe the Oppressor-Oppressed dynamic away from the purely economic and towards the more personal, the identitarian in fact, and leverage those resentments to slowly capture these smaller groups into their larger Marxist-Leninist whole. Palestine is one of those issues. It was originally used as an Apartheid-esque critique of Israel in an attempt to sway Muslims to the cause of Global Communism. This alliance is not new, is in fact very old, and the old Soviet communist subversives were directly responsible for the ascension of Islamism in Tehran (and elsewhere), as they believed that the Islamists of the Middle-East were genuinely on the side of Global Communism. But, as is often the case, the Communists did not realize they themselves were being cynically used by a more radical and more sinister regime, and so the Islamists betrayed them at their moment of victory and killed them all in the Islamist revolution of Iran. And that is the most important point. Many of the Old Left who were responsible for organizing these groups and creating fake issues to corral them are now dead, and there is no centralized leadership for Global Communism, yet the New Left believe these fake issues are now core to the Communist movement. Yuri Bezmenov is infamous for coining the phrase "useful idiots" because it genuinely shocked the Old Left that their cattle could actually be convinced to fight and die for Trans Rights, or Muslims, or Abortions, or Apartheid, or whatever. They are the unthinking who's only care now is who is "oppressed" and who is "oppressing". The ideology is now degraded to the point that it's that black and white: all oppressors must die, and all oppressed must ascend.

In any political system, Capitalist, Mercantilist, Feudalist, Parliamentary Monarchy, Empire, etc., the natural foils to centralized power are always the Aristocracy, the Merchant Classes, and the Church. The Aristocracy is almost always the most powerful as they are the landowners and the educated elite; and in the West's long history they have also been the leaders of the militaries. They push back on the Central power naturally because they are the ones subject to direct taxation and the burden of organizing the defense (or offense) of the nation, and they would prefer not to be jerked around. The Merchant classes are also a natural foil against centralized government because business prefers to conduct affairs without legal interruption. The Central Government who intervenes in business on behalf of a particular person or company is engaging in Mercantalism, which is the corrupted form of Capitalism. However, once the central governing apparatus ceases to be a benefit to the Merchants, they will always gravitate towards whichever political or social force is in alignment with their mid-long term goals against the Central Power. For now, that is broadly the new MAGA-GOP. In the US currently, we have an odd new-Western paradigm where the Aristocracy and Merchant classes are almost entirely fused, by which I mean there is profound overlap between them, and both have spent a great deal of time and energy concentrating their influence over the Federal and Local Governments. Using the Managerial Bureaucracy, these people have managed to transform our country from Capitalist to Centrally Planned Mercantalism, where most industries are regulated by a Bureaucratic body which is either directly codified into the Central State (SEC, FTC, FAA, etc.), or they are based out of Academic Institutions and are Government-Affiliated but not directly controlled (FINRA, FASB, etc.) These bodies exist as protection mechanisms for the entrenched industry interests and prevent new competition from emerging, and also creating oligarchic concensus among the existing, entrenched corporate interests. The only industry, and now our largest by far, that does not have any bureaucratic oligarchy is Internet-Based digital technology. This industry is almost unique in this new-American paradigm, and it's near-completely unregulated environment has produced by far the most significant social and technological advancement in the last 30 years. As a result, the Central Government-Academic-Big Business axis of control, which I will now call Leviathan, has been extremely intent on bringing this unruly industry into it's sphere through indirect regulatory efforts, most particularly via Academic Institutional takeover. From roughly 2014 until now, Leviathan has spent incredible amounts of money and influence to position academics and their stooges into Board rooms and into middle management, all in an effort to slowly integrate the corporations individually into Leviathan's system. This is a slow process, and it was working until roughly 2021 when Leviathan's mask slipped off and the top-level leadership of the Tech industry realized that they were being hijacked by Leviathan. This is the importance of the Twitter Files and the takeover of Twitter by Musk, because it's what convinced Peter Thiel, Musk, Zuckerberg, Bezos, and others that they were being indirectly and directly manipulated by the Central Government, and it's Aristocrat-Merchant overlords which already control every other industry. Ever since then, you've seen the leaders of Tech Merchant class, who are primarily motivated by technology advancement and techno-future utopianism, align themselves against the Leviathan as they do not wish to be controlled in this manner. This is the entire reason why Tech has shifted from left to right-coded. They are no longer unaware of Leviathan's influence on them and are now actively resisting it. They do not have any sense of ideological conformity or are even necessarily ideological at all. They simply do not wish to be commanded and controlled in this manner. That is why you see the tech CEOs and their top investors like Thiel, Andreessen, and others having more frequent moral and ideological discussions in the public square (X), as the entire top-level of the Tech-Merchant class is searching for new and older belief systems which they can adopt and use to push back against Leviathan at a cultural level. That is why they have gravitated to the right, also, because as we well know the Right is far more ideologically diverse than the Left is presently—and that is because "the Left" IS the Leviathan. It is in the Right's direct interest to continue flirting with these people and not alienate them because these people are and will be the primary drivers of cultural and social change over the next 25-35 years. The Right must spend as much time and energy as it possibly can convincing them that foundational American Capitalism, Christianity and Classical Virtue Ethics are the trinity which will bring them the techno-future utopia that they want, and not Leviathan's Gay Race Communism. The Right should do this because we can then use these tech leaders and their resources to usher in the kind of society we want to live in. Life, Liberty, Pursuit of Happiness. We can use the technologies that these people are already creating to completely supercede Leviathan's carefully constructed Centrally-Planned Bureaucracy. That is why AI, Robotics and their potential to completely transform ALL other industries is so important. AI must be right wing, and it must be right wing because soon AI will dominate every single industry Leviathan already controls.
