Xavier Becerra just pulled out of tomorrow's LA Times debate with Steve Hilton. After promising multiple debates, he's now in hiding. A poll found that Hilton won the first debate with viewers 74% to 20%. Becerra is doing the Biden approach, hiding in the basement.

This is false, Senator. The FBI investigated those obstructing law enforcement and engaging in assault, such as punching and spitting (my office charged more than 100 individuals with such crimes). No governor has been more destructive to this state than Gavin Newsom. 2 days after he was elected, the Woolsey Fire and the Camp Fire exploded, killing nearly a hundred people. Since he's been in office, we've had the worst fire seasons in state history. We've had the largest single fire in state history. The largest complex fire in state history. And the most expensive fire in state history. All thanks to Gavin Newsom's impotence and negligence as Governor. Of the most costly and destructive fires in state history, none of them started in the Federal responsibility area. Camp Fire was SRA, Eaton Fire was SRA, Tubbs Fire was SRA, Woolsey Fire was SRA, the Palisades Fire started on his STATE park. This nonsensical war that Gavin Newsom and his retarded minion Izzy wage against California firefighters is insane, and he's bashing these firefighters simply because their trucks are painted green instead of red.
