Seeing his palace tapes pisses me off so much cause this is exactly what our attack is missing
This is the kind of Madness Arsenal need right NOW 😭

Got his big move and lost any reasoning to perform at a top level I see no other explanation

Eze is more about the journey than the destination. Once he joined Arsenal his journey was completed. He’s at ease. He does not suffer. With a PL under the belt, even more so.

Oh shit wonder if there’s a common thread that links all these attackers getting nerfed… Hmmmm… What a mystery…

even madueke was performing while getting extra minutes in the bag . the manager always kills there momentum whenever they start performing. Eze-MLS was the glue that shift us back to the path and eze got rewarded by getting benched in ucl final.

Arteta does not allow plays like these, only the safe plays and pass to side or back until opponent is hopefully exhausted or fell asleep

I hope your frustration is directed at the manager and not the player himself because clearly he’s not the issue

What if it’s an “Arteta problem” He seems to be so focused on unlocking every player’s defensive ability and it might be affecting their attacking ability. And not just Eze, it applies to every attacker on the team I’m just thinking far tho

if he does that at Arsenal and lose the ball once, he'd get benched for months.

He had a stretch last season (leading up to his injury in the Carabao final) where he was hitting these levels imo.

I agree. They need an explosive outlet. When he was at Palace I saw him at MOTD and I knew he was good. At Azznal, I'm disappointed.

can’t believe we literally have to beg this guy to unleash his talents and put in effort like can’t you see your own potential ???

You guys realize that the league knows that if they give Arsenal this kind of space they'll lose 5-0 every time right? Look at Tottenham last year. Eze shined why? Because they did what most teams don't. They gave him space

Yeah, but the problem is your tapes doesn’t show the times he smokes sheesha while the team is defending. He’s no Mbappe or Vini you know

Could it be Arteta’s system and not Eze?

He’s still the same player, just in a different team with a different style and coach. Arteta’s system also limits him a bit. He’s the type of player that should probably get a free role and do what he wants but Arteta won’t give him that freedom. He just needs to work harder.

Eze is a Jesus boy. He’s playing for his boyhood team, and to him, he’s already achieved his life goals. He believes in Christ, and now he’s just fighting to make heaven. 😂 He’s not ready to stress himself, and that’s why he’s not even putting in any effort.

Yeah but it’s how we play though.. Arteta hasn’t figured out how to use him to his full potential. Our defensive nature ruined him

Seems he lost about 20% of his agility/explosiveness since he signed for Arsenal. Just don’t think he can do the OOP work Arteta demands and still be this quick and explosive in his offensive actions. He’s made to be a counter attacking, mid to lower table player.

Villa fan, he dropped him after villa park last season for not tracking a runner for a villa goal, didn’t see him start for a while. Everyone has to work but these wingers you’ve got have no freedom

He achieved his dream of playing pro football for Arsenal and just stopped like I don’t think he understands how much he could do not only for himself but for the team if he was just more proactive

It’s the jack Grealish effect, some players perform better when they know they are the main man at the club

yeah but if we attack fast we gonna lose the ball so its better to just keep posession and slow the attack until all defenders are settled.

He doesnt get the kind of space he used to get at Palace...its not that deep No one's playing a low block against Palace and he finds space to do the things he loves to do At Arsenal tho, he faces a low block almost every week

Eze has put on weight and also in arsenal the focus is first on off the ball structure and pressing and then football. Eze had a free role in Palace and the team was build around him.

The main issue could be the fact Eze is currently being played out of his preferred role. Eze isn't a left Winger and will never perform well there.
