This is the right decision for Dart long term.
#Giants QB Jaxson Dart will undergo surgery to repair his meniscus and also has damage to his PCL and MCL. His ACL is believed to be intact.
There was consideration given to trimming the meniscus to potentially get him back this season, but that was viewed as short-term thinking and not worth the risk, especially with the other ligament damage in his knee.
A meniscus repair involves stitching it back together and is typically the best option for long-term health. That’s the route Dart will take.

Yes. Coaches salaries should also be capped.
Sen. Cory Booker, with Sen. Chris Murphy, has filed an amendment to the Protect College Sports Act to cap coaching salaries at $5 million a year, per a copy obtained by @YahooSports.
It is one of 35+ amendments filed. Most of them have little chance of being accepted.
