Testnet, Amoy, and Beyond We are excited to announce that the new testnet for Crypto Factor InterChain is now live! 🎉 This is a significant milestone in our roadmap toward the mainnet, and we want to share all the details with you. InterChain Testnet After two weeks of intensive stress testing the consensus of InterChain on the development network (devnet), we successfully packaged the optimal chain parameters for the public testnet. During this process, we encountered several hard limits across the chains we operate, with the Partisia chain being the most notable. Our smart contracts triggered the callback stack limit on a few occasions, requiring us to split calls and optimize gas routes to enable proper scaling. As a result, we achieved nearly full InterChain blocks, producing over 600 event transactions on the PBC without hitting the limit—an excellent achievement for scalability. We also conducted thorough tests of our new Risk Module, and we can confidently say it is ready for the upcoming mainnet release! The public testnet is now operating with a target block speed of 30 minutes and a keep-alive invocation every 6 hours. Polygon Amoy We are pleased to announce the addition of Polygon PoS as the first major update to our supported chains list, joining the InterChain family on the testnet. Amoy now runs a fully functional partial chain within InterChain, though it is currently missing cPOL as a gas transfer token, which will be added later. Partial blocks are now thriving on Amoy, enjoying low maintenance costs and impressive speed thanks to recent updates from the Polygon team—kudos to them! Soon, once we update the Crypto Factor dApp, CFR holders on the testnet will be able to transfer tokens to Amoy as they prepare for Crypto Factor on QuickSwap! WEN MAINNET? The burning question for everyone is: What’s next, and when can we expect the mainnet? The answer is that we will launch the mainnet beta after successfully completing all the necessary tasks to transition from the testnet to the mainnet. Here are some of the critical tasks ahead: - Optimize block minting costs for more affordable use of InterChain - Revamp the Bridge UI and smart contracts to align with the latest consensus changes - Conduct stress tests on the Amoy deployment - Perform security tests on the testnet We will keep you updated on all upcoming changes, but the mainnet has never felt closer!
