Tibetan monks and locals of Wonto village, Dege County in Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan province on Feb. 20, 2024, pleaded with Chinese officials, who were visiting the area to discuss the demolition of Yena Monastery, to halt their project to build another dam.
