Hennepin's Housing and Redevelopment Authority approved its 2027 budget- it's expanding with no increase to the tax levy! As Chair of the county’s HRA, I’m proud of what we’re doing to preserve and create hundreds of units next year and support more families into homeownership.

Recently, @anquam62B and I visited Southside Community Health Services, now relocated from Green Central Elementary to a beautiful, welcoming clinic with expanded hours and accessibility. Primary care to dental, vision and behavioral health, new & in the heart of our community.

Today my team and I toured Second Chance Recycling to see their recycling services that keep materials out of landfills and the streets. Second Chance’s workforce is composed of individuals formerly incarcerated, employment is paired with comprehensive support for a new chapter.

I joined @EastBankMpls’s “Meeting of the Neighborhoods” gathering last night to share updates on the proposed 2027 county budget, the current status of HCMC and our office’s priorities as we officially begin budget season at the county. Thank you East Bank for convening us all!

Everyday on my walk I'm reminded that just a few short weeks ago I walked past an active crime scene. Still holding the family in care and sharing what is now a memorial and plea from the family to share anything you might know so that they may know justice.

This weekend my team and I dropped into the @SENAmpls annual meeting and the Bossen Block Party hosted in part by @NokomisEast! Lots of fun, great food and joyful community conversation.
