Any #exmormon 's in Eastern Orthodoxy out there that has any advice with family who are still Mormon? I had a small conversation with my parents, where, without getting into detail, I said that I hope she does follow my leave and come the Orthodoxy, and she kept saying things like "My testimony is so certain, nothing else CAN be true." Unrelated to the question, but it was this attitude, that I had, previously, that made my movement away from the LDS faith so painful!

I'm trying to figure out the Psalter. I think i finally caught up. Figured out Pascal, then realized it didnt matter because the apadosis of the exaltation of the precious and lofegiving cross had already passed. And saw that after that it starts over at the Saturday after the 22nd day of September (I think), so now i know what i need to pray tonight, tomorrow morning, and all next week. He's technically right. What it actually says is to fight all muslims if they do not convert (this is a command for war...which is killing) until they submit and either convert or pay their "protection" tax. Super peaceful.

Overall I like @paleochristcon He was my first introduction to Eastern Orthodoxy, and he debates very well... sometimes I think he gets a little too juvenile, but it's always in response to others being bad faith. But this video, is a whole new level! The fight against Islam is real, and he understands it, I feel like having crusader armor fashioned for me after listening to this!

Some people are angry with me that I think men should show restraint in most cases. The world needs to return to a civilized state.

I pray for trans people regularly. It is saddening to think that they struggle ao badly with life and their understanding of who they are, that they need to find meaning in a lie. It makes sense to some degree, that lie is denying a part of who they are, giving them a sense of a fresh start. I fantasize often about a fresh start, which in and of itself is wasteful of time and effort, but I understand the impulse. I hope more of you will find God to give you fulfillment, because ultimately only He can.
