They overachieved this year but got hot at the right time and squandered games 2 and 4 on a missed challenge/error and poor bullpen management, respectively.
It hurts to be down 2-3 because they had a chance to overachieve even more.
Still do, fortunately, but it’s bleaker
Can we all at least come to a consensus on whether this is a team that wasn't good enough and over achieved this year or is a world series caliber roster underperforming on the biggest stage? It's hard to keep track at this point.
