Another Russian ballistic missile attack came in several waves overnight, and once again, there was no early warning from our partners. They again targeted energy facilities and infrastructure, but a medical clinic, a school, a metro station, and ordinary residential buildings were also damaged. In total, the Russians launched 16 ballistic missiles in a deliberate attack on Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The Russians also launched more than 200 drones of various types, including jet-powered “shaheds,” with attacks spanning from the Kharkiv and Dnipro regions to the Volyn, Rivne, and Odesa regions. Sadly, there are casualties. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Those who were injured are receiving assistance. Overnight and this morning, Russia attacked energy facilities in the Vinnytsia, Volyn, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Kharkiv, Ternopil, Odesa, and Rivne regions. In this one night alone, more than 10 energy infrastructure facilities were damaged, and the lights went out for at least 550,000 families. Repair crews are working at the sites. Ukraine never wanted this war, and we have welcomed literally EVERY attempt by our partners to bring this war to a dignified end. We have responded positively to EVERY ceasefire proposal. Russia's response, time and again, has been ballistic missiles, “shaheds,” and killings. Putin not only doesn't want to end this war – he doesn't even want to take any steps toward de-escalation. EVERY ONE of our partners has experienced this firsthand when they heard Russia's refusals. And it is crucial to call things what they are. To call the aggressor an aggressor and help Ukraine defend lives. When deliveries of missiles for Ukraine's air defense are blocked while Russia is granted relief or delays in sanctions, this is, unfortunately, a denial of reality on the part of our partners. The reality is that the war continues, and it continues solely because of Russian strikes and Russia's desire to drag this war out. I thank everyone who recognizes this reality and helps Ukraine!

Eisenkot, the Israeli candidate with the best shot of unseating Netanyahu, publicly condemns the recent violence of extremist settlers. A lot of confident western leftists assured me there's no difference between the candidates on this issue.

Since the American President announced the energy ceasefire a week ago, Russia has deliberately attacked Ukraine’s energy and oil and gas sectors 76 times. Last night alone, there were strikes on substations in the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Odesa regions. Tens of thousands of families remain without power. Energy workers and repair crews are working virtually around the clock to restore electricity supply. Overnight, the Russians also struck residential buildings in our regions. As of now, 12 people have been reported injured, including two children. Two people have been killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. This morning, there was a strike on an agricultural enterprise in Volyn. All necessary services are working at the site. In total, over this past week, the Russians have attacked Ukraine with almost 2,700 attack drones, 1,700 aerial bombs, and 66 missiles, most of them ballistic. The main targets of these strikes are energy facilities – the Russians are trying to cause a blackout. And America should see that Russia is not taking any reciprocal steps in response to sanctions relief or agreements. On the contrary, they take every signal of an opportunity to make money as proof that their bet on war is paying off and they can keep fighting. It is because of this position of Russia’s that the war continues, not because Ukraine is rightfully defending itself. It is Russia that must face pressure for peace to have a chance. Thank you to everyone who understands this and helps.

Schauen wir uns also an, was Blackrock an Vonovia besitzt (leicht vereinfacht): BlackRock werden heute 8,33 % an Vonovia zugerechnet.

We don’t use Starlink for our responses inside Russia. We use Starlink to intercept jet-powered “shaheds” that attack our civilians and kill families. Starlink wasn’t turned off – its speed was reduced. And when the speed was reduced, we were unable to intercept a certain number of jet-powered “shaheds.” We couldn’t use a tool that helps protect people. That’s very painful and frustrating. We also use Starlink for mid-range strikes against enemy military targets in our temporarily occupied territories. We couldn’t do that when the restrictions were in place. And third, what matters most is people. Our warriors, who spend weeks and months on the front line, receive food and water delivered by drones using Starlink. Has the speed been fully restored to what it was before? No. Is it being restored now? Yes. From a conversation with media representatives in Brussels. (2/3)

Do those in the West who support Hamas while claiming to care about Palestinians know that Hamas forces people in Gaza to pay heavy taxes, even when they can barely afford food? I think most of them know. They just care more about Hamas than about the people of Gaza.

DISGUSTING: Drop Site News ends their post about Abbas postponing the elections by portraying Hamas’s bloody takeover of Gaza in 2007 as the result of a civil war provoked by Fatah and the US. “and the US armed and trained Fatah forces, led in Gaza by Dahlan, to provoke a civil war and oust Hamas.” What a convenient way to sanitize the bloodshed. Hundreds of Palestinians were killed by Hamas terrorists during its takeover of Gaza, yet they portray Hamas as the victim rather than the perpetrator of a bloody coup. This isn't journalism. It's Hamas propaganda, whitewashing the group's terrorism and its crimes against Palestinian people.
🇵🇸 Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Saturday postponed the November 28 legislative elections, which would have been the first national vote in two decades, to September 11, 2027, when a presidential election will also be held, according to the official Wafa news agency. 🔸The executive committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, which Abbas heads, said Israeli actions had made a vote in Gaza impossible. Israel has confined about 2 million Palestinians to an about 35% part of the enclave, carries out daily strikes and has barred election officials and international observers, the Financial Times reported. 🔸In the West Bank and East Jerusalem, the committee cited a surge in settler attacks, Israeli military movement restrictions and Israel's withholding of billions of dollars in PA revenues. 🔸It said conditions expected when the elections were announced months ago "had changed fundamentally" and now "undermine guarantees for the safety of voters, candidates and electoral workers." 🔸In an October 8 letter to France seen by Reuters, PA Vice President Hussein al-Sheikh laid out those conditions: an Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, the deployment of international forces and Palestinian police, curbs on Israeli annexation and settler violence, and the release of nearly $7 billion in Palestinian funds withheld by Israel. None had materialized. 🔸Hamas called the postponement "a step in the right direction," saying political and security conditions were not suitable for a free election, and said the delay "must lead to a serious, fruitful and comprehensive national dialogue." Late last month, Hamas and Islamic Jihad agreed to back "a unified national list" with Dahlan's bloc to challenge Abbas's Fatah, Islamic Jihad deputy leader Mohammed al-Hindi told the AP. He said Islamic Jihad, which has historically boycotted PA elections, "will not directly run any candidates" but would support the agreed list. The alliance marks a striking turn, since Hamas drove Dahlan out of Gaza in 2007. 🔸Abbas's Fatah rival Mohammed Dahlan called it a "catastrophic" decision and a "violation of democracy [and] the rights of our Palestinian people," the FT reported. His reformist Fatah faction called the delay an "attack on democracy" that threatens younger Palestinians who have been deprived of the right to choose their representatives. "The absence of elections deepens the crisis of legitimacy and weakens the Palestinian domestic front," the faction said, adding that the leadership "is enshrining fiscal, political and administrative corruption, and pushes institutions away from the national track." It called for broad dialogue among factions to build a "popular front" capable of exerting pressure. 🔸Egypt has invited Palestinian faction leaders, including Dahlan and Hamas political bureau chief Khalil al-Hayya, to Cairo next week for a new round of reconciliation talks, sources told The National. Faction sources said the delay was meant to address Palestinian divisions before a vote. Abbas, 90, last won an election in 2005 and has ruled by decree since his term expired in 2009. He had pledged to hold elections this year as part of reforms demanded by the international community, as the PA sought a role in postwar Gaza. But an August poll by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research found 79% of Palestinians wanted him to resign. Palestinians last voted for a legislature in 2006, when Hamas defeated Fatah. Israel and Western governments responded with sanctions on the Hamas-led government, and the US armed and trained Fatah forces, led in Gaza by Dahlan, to provoke a civil war and oust Hamas, according to documents reported by Vanity Fair. The fighting ended with Hamas taking control of Gaza in 2007.
