Will a deal be made with Iran that lets them rebuild and create a far greater country than it ever was before — maybe one of the greatest in the Middle East or even the world? Or do I annihilate the Islamic Republic, and do it quickly, never giving them a chance to kill and destroy again? Do I drive them into hell with no chance of survival and no hope of future greatness?

This past week, I had the honor and privilege of visiting the incredible service members of U.S. Southern Command, Special Operations Command South, Joint Interagency Task Force South, U.S. Central Command, U.S. Special Operations Command, and Special Operations Command Central. The decisions, planning, and coordination taking place across these headquarters directly affect the service members, units, and interagency partners operating in some of the world’s most challenging environments. These warriors give 110 percent every day accomplishing the mission, defending our nation, and taking care of one another under the most difficult circumstances. Our responsibility is clear ensure they have the leadership, equipment, training, and support necessary to accomplish their missions and, most importantly, bring them all home safely back to their families when the mission is completed. Our country should be immensely proud of these Americans who protect us every day and night, often in distant and dangerous places. They represent the very best our nation has to offer. It was an honor to spend time with them and to personally thank them for their service, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to our country. May God continue to bless our service members, their families, and the United States of America. 🇺🇸
